So Eris will take your radiant energy and trade you radiant shards, and vice versa, provided you add some black wax idol into the deal. Since Crota's End raid armor pretty much nullified VoG armor, one of the only reasons I do VoG is for the ascendant energy and weapon loot drops. My ascendant shards keep piling up and I have no reason to keep them. Some would argue you can use VoG armor for crucible, but I'd rather just keep on my CE armor, esp. for Iron Banner since leveling matters in that case. How about putting the Speaker to work and letting us exchange excess ascendant shards for ascendant energy, which is still useful for upgrading most legendary weapons available from all the vendors (Crucible, Vanguard and Factions). Make it just like the Eris-style exchange and add the material of your choice (Etherseeds?) to seal the deal. What do you think?
