As we all know, the back story behind this game's plot is shrouded in much mystery. There are many theories we have about Destiny and all it entails, and we have been sharing them A LOT over the forums. However, those of us interested in the lore behind destiny have been stuck searching through forums for lore hashtags, and youtube video search results. And when we finally do find someone else interested, we usually message them/follow them/join a clan just so we can stick together and collaborate since Bungie seems to be keeping tight lips. Creating a category of sorts would allow for us folk-lore kids to better find each other and talk, as well as provide a specific place for people to share their theories or fan fictions or whatever so that we could better appreciate the mature work and depth and complexity that is Bungie plot lines (Although they may not always seem like it at face value). Plus it'll make the game feel more real, like Bungie intends it to be. Counter arguments: 1) Destiny won't always be around, once they make another game they won't need a lore forum. 2) Perhaps all future dlcs will fill in the plot holes and therefore debunk all our lore ideas making it wasted time 3)Bungie wrote the game, don't rewrite it for them Countet-counter arguements: 1) Perhaps but seeing as they've already shaped so much of their website around destiny (grimoire, tower, and legend links) not to mention the whole destiny themed forum catagory, I don't think it'd be too much work. Also, maybe their next game may have mysteries for the reader to solve like Destiny? who knows. 2-3) True, but perhaps even then it'd still be a cool place for Bungie fans to share stories and for Bungie to find potential future script writers and artist, and DEVs (after all, the people currently at Bungie aren't getting any younger) 4) It'll be a place for the Bungie writers to watch people appreciate their puzzles (after all, who doesn't find satisfaction in stumping someone/ making someone think?)
