Okay so as you all know your Ghost can open doors or scan equipment or bring up a sparrow for you. But what if in an open world environment such as PvE it could be an animal companion? Think of this, you're battling some enemies and feel outnumbered, you bring up your Ghost and with the click of a button, he transforms, bending light and matter to turn himself into a mechanical animal forged in light, he can attack enemies and find and retrieve ammo or loot from the enemies you or it have killed. Instead of having all those empty slots next your Ghost in your invent, why not fill it with an blueprint and whichever one you equip, will be the one you can summon.
