Hey guys, thank you for the feedback on the first chapter. This should be improved so enjoy. Vergessen woke up in the Towers Medical Room, he had been stabbed in the back. He rolled off the bed onto the floor, 'great my legs wont move' he thought. A Guardian rushed over to help him up, they moved him back on the bed and told him to stay there. "I have to stay here in this place and nobody will tell me how long" Vergessen grumbled to himself. Sukiru was out in orbit, when she got a distress signal from Venus. "Ghost take us to Venus" she said quickly. "I'm already on it, you might want to get your weapons ready, ETA 3 minutes" her Ghost replied. Sukiru opened her weapons chest and pulled out a Duke-501, Two to the Morgue and Zombie Apocalypse WF47, they all had seen better days. "We are dropping now" her Ghost said. Sukiru saw a blinding light and then she was standing in the jungles of Venus. "Ghost, can you set a waypoint for the distress beacon?" Sukiru asked, a blue waypoint flickered to life on her HUD. The waypoint was a mile away, "Ghost can you summon my sparrow?" Sukiru asked, her sparrow appear in front of her. 'He is being really quiet, I have a bad feeling about this' she thought. She got on her sparrow and rode to the waypoint and dismounted. She walked over to the beacon, "Hello anyone here?" She asked loudly. She thought she saw a figure move out of the corner of her eye, but when she turned nothing was there. 'Must of just been a branch or something' she thought to herself. The figure moved again, but this time right behind her so she couldn't see him. The figure grabbed Sukiru and whacked her on the back of the head with his hand cannon, Sukiru went unconscious. Vergessen walked out of the Medical Room, fully recovered. He walked out into the Towers Main Entrance to see the Speaker giving a speech. " This Guardian named Sukiru has gone missing, from her Ghosts light imprints we found she was going to a distress beacon. Since this beacon is offline now we can assume she had reached the destination, but then got captured or worse killed." The Speaker said "That is all I will say on this topic." "Ghost, take me to orbit we are going to find Sukiru" Vergessen stated. Vergessen's vision went white as he was transported to his ship that had already been flown to orbit. "Are you sure you want to got through with this? You haven't used a gun in a while." His Ghost asked. "It's Sukiru, I would do anything for her." Vergessen replied. -- 5 Years earlier -- "Eyes up Guardian" a robotic voice commanded. Vergessen looked up to see a pointy object looking at him, it was almost like it was studying him. Vergessen looked at his surroundings, he was on the Moon. The object spoke again "We need to get a move on, this is Hive territory we can't stay here." A way point flickered to life on Vergessen's HUD. "There should be weapons at that location" the pointy object said. Vergessen began to walk to the location marked on the HUD, he didn't know why he trusted that object. "While we walk I think I should explain a lot of things to you, first I am a Ghost well actually now I'm your Ghost. Second, you have been dead a very long time so you might see some stuff you wont understand." His Ghost said. They reached the waypoint, it was a cargo crate. Vergessen opened the crate to find it completely empty, "No no no no no, there were supposed to be weapons in here" Vergessen's Ghost complained. "Hey, you and the Ghost" a woman's voice said behind them. Vergessen and his Ghost turned around to see a human woman like Vergessen wearing standard armour made by their Ghosts, she was also carrying all the weapons in the cargo crate. "Take this" she said throwing him a shotgun. "Where is your Ghost? Vergessen's Ghost asked. "He is fixing a ship we found" the woman replied. "Mind if we tag along?" Vergessen's Ghost asked. She gestured for them to follow, they walked a few miles until they reached the ship. "The ship should be fixed any minute now s-- Oh you brought some friends, well hello new people would you like a ride back to the tower?" The woman's Ghost said politely. Vergessen's ghost went over to converse and help the woman's Ghost. "My name is Sukiru" the woman said. "My name is..." Vergessen didn't know his name 'damnit how can I not remember my name, this is so awkward' he thought to himself. "Oh you can't remember your name? I'll give you one, heh since you can't remember your name I'll shame you for, I'll call you Vergessen which is German for forgotten." Sukiru said. "Oh no, Duck!" Sukiru shouted. Vergessen fell to the floor, a Thrall claw slashed where his head was a second ago. Sukiru shot the thrall until it dropped to the floor, spewing ashes. More Hive ran out a cave behind Vergessen, "Ghosts is it done yet?" Sukiru asked quickly. "Yes it is" Sukiru's Ghost said, the ship hovered off the ground "Bringing you in now." Vergessen's vision went white then suddenly he was on the ship, he felt really dizzy. "Setting course for the Tower" Vergessen's Ghost said. After they got to the tower they rarely adventured together, but still remained in contact. -- Present Day -- Drip Drip Drip Sukiru had grown used to that sound in the few days she had been trapped in a prison. She heard movement, a light was shone on her face. "Who are what do you want from me!" Sukiru shouted. "Oh hush pretty, child you will know soon enough, if you fail to comply ill happily slit your throat." The stranger said, his voice sounded male, but also echoed with a deeper voice. "Just let me go and I promise I wont kick your ass too hard" Sukiru replied s-blam!-ing. The stranger punched Sukiru in the gut, she fell to the floor wheezing. He laughed and said "You are no match for me, now tell me of the one you call Vergessen..." Thank you for reading, leave your feedback below.
