Destiny's leveling scheme is pretty stupid as is, and I don't see it getting any more reasonable. Here is how I propose it gets fixed:
Get rid of the attack/defense numbers
Make it so raid bosses drop weapons and armor that is strongest against the next boss
For example-
Atheon is the only boss that will drop weapons and armor that can regen
Hive are weakest against vex weapons
This then forces you to get maxed out vog gear in order for you to take on Crota
THEN
Crota gear has weapons and perks that are necessary for taking down how bosses.
This way, raid gear is always relevant, and bungie won't have to keep raising the attack numbers, then capping them, which makes absolutely no sense. At this rate the attack is going to be like 500 but then they are going to be like no, too op, still takes same amount of hits to kill enemies as it did before.
