Bored. "Update 1.1.2 stil weeks (!) away." HoW even further! Critical feedback included.

Got everything I want, needed to dismantle the rest due to insufficient vault space. Dissapointed in lazyness of Crota Hard Mode. Got nothing left to do. "With 1.1.2. still weeks (!) away" i'm not counting on the house of wolves release any time soon. I'm thinking of dropping this game since there isnt anything left to go for. I don't really want to, but somehow I got the feeling I'm being forced to quit (like the mc donalds design: come and eat, but gtfo after eating asap.) Don't get me wrong, the gameplay feels great. The thing destroying it is the undelivered potential this game has and the cheap (not for the gamer moneywise) way of adding "new content". To explain the latter: Crota Hard mode: I don't think I have to explain this. Increasing the level cap is an insult (<-- epic fail) Selling raids or story missions backwards, calling them strikes / new content afterwards (black garden strikes). This is similar to offering DLC in a racegame which simply reverses the tracks. Another thing extending the gameplay is the random generated loot. Are you aware how conditioning works (Pavlov)? One who puts effort in something needs to get to feel rewarded for their actions. If a person is rewarded insufficient to ones effort, the behavior (playing the game, making the effort) will suffer from extinction (basic Psychology, come on Bungie) I refuse to believe the Destiny team is retarded and thus believe this is a intentional choice. I'd like to see a big improvement for the games sake on this matter. RNG failed, we all agree on that one don't we... In a nutshell, I really want this game to deliver it's potential, instead of making a lot of gamers feeling deceived due to the chopped up story mode and obviously cheap marketing tactics. Bungie: I want you to succeed, not to fail. Deliver what's been promised before launch: A good story, a fun loot system and a good and fun reason to come back and keep playing this game. Destiny does a lot of things good, but needs a lot of polishing will it ever deliver what's being promised before launch! I'm not considering this as a flame, but more as a critical opinion just like Angry Joe provided. See the link below. A lot of arguments still stand. I'd honestly like to see how the Destiny team responds to this constructive yet critical review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzopWRXK_r4 (Marketing tactics revealed further in video. I'd like to see an explanation, not an excuse). Guardian out!

 • Well thought out and I enjoyed the read. I'm surprised you haven't gotten flamed w/people telling you to just quit. Oh, and I find Angry Joe hideous and extremely annoying(one reason he has "success") but he makes some good points in his review.
