Content Ideas

I have ideas for the game that I think would be great for the game. My first idea is a concept for the engrams. My second idea is a raid and dlc for Earth and my last idea is an idea for gun types. My final idea is for the public events on all planets and moon. These ideas may be beneficial. My first idea is for the raid and dlc the raid could be called The Ancient Secrets or Vault of the Golden Age. Basically the dlc will be in New York City and will involve all four alien races. The story behind the dlc is The Speaker hears radio frequencies coming from a source that appear to be human. So the guardians go to the area to explore and encounter a lost settlement that has new types of stores. The story missions for the dlc would be basically exploration, protection then finally extraction of the human survivors who want to leave. The weapons of this dlc would all be ancient weapons like the very first gun in the game. The raid will take up most of the DLC area basically players would have to navigate through the area fighting all four alien races as they fight each other. The raid would have ten bosses the first boss will be another giant servitor that has nothing but other smaller servitors spawning in waves trying to protect it. The second boss will be three archons one will be an archon priest and the other an archon warrior and the last one is a reaver archon with swords; captains and elite dregs and reaver vandals will try to protect the archons. The third and also the last boss of the Fallen will be two walkers guarded by shanks only who will also be using shields; there will also be a hybrid walker/shank that will spawn in after the two walkers are destroyed, this walker will have shank cannons on all four legs that continue to shoot until destroyed this walker hybrid will also be able to jump and hover using a shank jetpack. When a leg is destroyed the walker hybrid will do the same motion as a regular walker only it will spawn ten shanks in the process. After destroying the three fallen bosses players will traverse a battlefield with all four races battling it out. The next phase will be the Cabal bosses the first boss will be a giant phalanx with normal phalanxes guarding him spawning in waves, this boss will use a rocket launcher instead of a flak cannon. The second boss fight will be slightly bigger psion who has more abilities than the regular ones it will use void, arc and solar based attacks instead of using a gun it will also launch a shock wave of all three affects when players get too close; the regular psions will spawn in great numbers trying to protect it. The last cabal boss battle will be a giant centurion commander and a giant colossus commander both fighting together in a large area normal centurions and colossuses will spawn in small waves to protect their leaders. After facing the cabal players will traverse another battlefield inside a cave system thus finally reaching the vault door basically its bunker door; upon activating the switch players will fight three waves of enemies coming from all four races until their ghost decodes the computer to finally open the door. The bunker will give players a break from the alien races except the vex, basically since the vex can teleport they will do anything they can to stop players from reaching the vault armory. The first vex boss will be a Nexus for earth it will be guarded by harpies and normal hydras. The second boss will be the hobgoblin commander it will use a giant laser cannon that deals massive amounts of damage, the goblins and hobgoblins will spawn in waves to protect their leader. The final vex boss will be a gate lord with minotaurs and praetorians spawning in to protect it, this gate keeper will have two cannons instead of one as well as two laser turrets mounted on the shoulders. Once the vex are defeated players will enter an area with severe damage. In the damaged area of the bunker protecting the vault armory players only see badly lighted and completely dark areas. The hive will be in these areas, all hive units will be in these areas as well as thralls who use stealth and are almost completely silent they stalk the players until the time is right, these stealth thralls will also not show up on radar. The first hive boss will a hive shrieker that is a little bigger but it will have the ability to fly, however it can only attack while staying in place so it will move to avoid damage; cursed thralls and wizards will be spawning in to protect it. The second hive boss will be two giant knights one will use a sword that also has shock waves and the other will use the standard grenade launcher, normal knights wielding shredders, boomers and swords will spawn in to protect their leaders. The third boss fight will be another abomination however this one had time to grow, there will also be another giant ogre but it didn’t mutate like the abomination. Ogres and Thralls will spawn in to protect these two for they are in areas that allow very little movement like the abomination strike on the moon. Once the last hive boss fight is completed the players will finally be at the final part which is repair the power core which is quick and has no combat, then opening the door to the vault armory. When the players activate the switch the door to the vault armory will open players will see all kinds of technologies and weapons along the walls. In the center of the room will be a ghost hovering in place it will be painted black and will have a red eye. When all players enter the armory the door will shut and the ghost won’t be invincible but it will immediately attack the players after screeching. The ghost will have three shields first one will be void second one will be solar and the third will be an arc shield. The ghost will be using a laser based weapons as well as pulse grenades that use solar energy. During the fight the ghost will spawn in lost guardians who didn’t make it to the armory as well as units from all four alien races. The players will have to be quick to shoot the ghost because once it loses its shield it charges up its teleportation device and goes to an area in the armory to recover. Once players defeat the last boss of the raid they will receive a random golden age exotic and legendary weapon as well as a piece of armor that can be legendary or exotic. The strikes of this dlc would be against the hive and the fallen. The story will be mainly exploration and discovery. My idea for the engrams is a new kind of engram upon falling out of an enemy players would see a red engram it won’t display what kind of engram it is when picked up. This will be the high risk engram it will give players a chance to receive a legendary or exotic weapon and a legendary or exotic piece of armor. There is a huge catch though players also have a chance at receiving a cursed or corrupted item it will be common or uncommon only and it will switch itself with whatever the player has equipped. If it is a cursed or corrupt weapon players will have to do a special kind of bounty to remove the curse or restore it the bounties for the weapon will require the player to use only that weapon to complete it, bounties for weapons will be kill based or accuracy based. Now if the player receives cursed or corrupted armor the player will have to get over 15,000 XP or 300 kills without dying. Upon completing the special bounty the curse will be removed from the item or be restored if the player still feels like they want a reward they can go to Xurs and convert the item into an exotic or legendary version of the item. The idea I had for public events would combine kill the target and warsat public events to create the escort public event. The event will make players have to protect an alien target who will have a shield and it will be from a race that isn’t on the planet or moon. An example would be let’s say you are on Mars the escort mission will either make players protect a hive unit or a fallen unit from waves of enemies that are on the planet. The unit that has to be protected will attack players as well and must reach a certain number of check points for a bronze or silver completion, the only way to get gold is if the unit actually makes it to the destination. I hope these ideas are good and that Bungie considers them. I should have more soon I like the game and the community and I hope see more content.

  • I have another idea and it's about patrol missions basically this would be fun if they added it in, my idea is making another level of patrol missions since the highest level for patrol missions is seventeen I think a level twenty six patrol mission option should be added to all planets and the moon; so that players can have more of a challenge and more fun as well as reward. The level twenty six patrol missions area would have all areas open and all bosses active to allow more of a variety with the patrol missions and bounties. I also have an idea for a new game mode for crucible and it's call "All Out War", basically all four alien races will be fighting at the same time as the guardians the catch is the guardians will have two teams of six and still would be going against each other. I also think a level thirty patrol mission area should be added in as well it will be like the level twenty six option but player vs. player would also be active.
