Jaks my best friend was standing their, his pulse rifle in hand, he then just said "eh prae it will be just like venus all over again" I uttered "won't it just hehe" then we saw them the vast amounts of hydras moving up the hill Osiris only said "mother of god" we decided to fall back, running for a canyon but we took a wrong turn, there were about 50 vex gates, suddenly we found ourselves swarmed by goblins, these ones though were different wearing cloaks with dark blue eyes we had no choice but to fight, firing a shot out of my scout rifle I watched one of them fall to the floor, we then ran, ran for our life and light when we escaped the canyon we were yet to see the worst. we thought we had escaped but then I saw a blade pierce jaks chest jaks then pulled the pin on a grenade and with his last breath said "run" we ran, ran to an open desert, and that's when we saw him, transforming the land around him, gheleon the lord of the machines, saladins predictions were correct, I ran for my ship but once I got their Osiris said "I want to stay, if this planet will die then I will go with it he clutched his iconic scout rifle he had named the fate and walked off, I then escaped the planet but witnessed too many die by this machine god, he must be stopped. my name is praedyth and this is how mercury fell
