Edited by Tomato Gravy: 3/16/2015 4:10:38 PMNot cheating.......but cheating yourself out of a class....2 subclasses, all the different exotic armors for that class.. The only reason to have more than one of the same is to boost them to higher level faster........at this point in the game....useless. Besides you never know.....the class you are neglecting now may be important in future content.

To each his own man. I started with a hunter, then added a titan, then added a warlock. After putting a lot of time into each class I noticed I never played my warlock. Hunters were the most fun for me so I deleted it and used the slot for an extra hunter. I'm not trying to "cheat the game" I just want to spend my time playing a class that I enjoy more.
-
your cheating yourself but not the game
-
Who cares what people think? Do what you want. I wanted to try all 3 classes out so I did. I tell people all the time that are having bad luck with drops to make duplicates to increase their chances. Some people don't like the other classes.
-
I don't care what people say. I'm not waisting a character slot on a hunter again. There is a reason I deleted him.
-
I think its a weapon /armor advantage if any thing. Besides what and how many of the same or different characters you have doesnt affect MY game experience at all. Do you!
-
No real people think that's cheating. I've got three hunters until I get my hawkmoon. Then I'm making another class.
-
Why would it be cheating?
-
Play how you want no body gives a flying -blam!- if you have 1 warlock or 2 or 3
-
I just don't like titans for my play style
-
See I want to make my hunter but I wont to get to level 34 quicker when how comes out
-
Oh well, people are going to say what they want but in the end it's your game you paid for so screw em. Especially the neck beards that say it's "too lazy". Lmao, don't even get me started on that. I run two titans because i think they're the most fun to play as. I had a warlock but absolutely hated playing as him. Have a hunter too that was my main but he got boring.
-
Not cheating at all. That is very time efficient. Don't let others tell you how to play the game..... not like they bought it for you :-/
-
I have a life so I would want to get what I can quick especially in a game..
-
Not cheating but very very scrub like!!!!!
-
Nah its just lazy and kinda makes it hard to fully experience the game if mostly play as b only one class
-
Not cheating. just a little lazy. Not even lazy if you just cant stand a class. I know people who run 2 of the same class just cause they cant stand a class. But people with all 3 characters the same class....Thats showing an unwillingness to change up play style lol
-
Boring though, real boring trust me i did it for 5 months
-
No cheating! I had two titans and one warlock but in the end decided to also make a hunter instead of the 2nd titan because 2 titans was not satisfying. I like having 3 different chars with the different skills every char has. But if you dislike one char why should you make one?
-
It is in no way cheating, its not even boring, boring would be playing a class you dislike just to say you have one of all 3 classes. When the game was released I had one of each class all at lvl 30, I grew to love the titan and hate the warlock, so i deleted my warlock and made another titan. Im not going to force myself to play as a class i dont enjoy playing, neither should anyone else.

Specialization vs generalization How the hell is specialization cheating?? And the game functions as designed, so it's not like the community is exploiting a loophole If you want diversity, make different characters. If you want to have the baddest gaurdian around quickly after DLC drops, specialize. I tried the other classes during Beta/launch but quickly moved to specialization and haven't regretted it since Well....I do wish I could teleport/blink with a shotty but that's ok, I have my bubble. =)
-
It's definitely not cheating. I have 3 of each but I think it's up to how each person wants to play. I just have 3 because I want to try all Destiny has to offer
-
I have three hunter's tried the other two didn't care for them. I think it's a good strategy but that's just my opinion. Play how you want, who cares about what these shit zippers say..
-
I have 2 hunters and 1 warlock
-
I have 2 titans and a hunter but I played a warlock to max then deleted because the jump was so unbearable for me. And I have two different sets of armor on my titans so I don't care what people say
-
Wouldn't really call it cheating. I would just rather be able to experience the game with all 3 since each class plays a differently
