Heavy Ammo Glitch drives me crazy
Especially at Crota the same day Xur is selling Heavy Ammo. Dumbasses choose to ignore me every time I mention it to them.

I disagree. I used it the other day on vog hard with some randoms. We were At confluxes and oracles. Both times my whole team died and here I am jellyhorning the shit out of everything running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I basically soloed it with just my jellyhorn and the 500 ammo pack laying on the ground. They all became true believers of the mighty power of the gjallahorn that day. I like to think I made the gods proud.

Drives me crazy too because it seems like there is always the 1 or 2 people that either... A) Never heard of the glitch before and need it explained to them B) Don't have a hand canon and need to empty their primary which is an AR with 700+ rounds and a clip of under 30 C) The new person trying it screws up and they get ammo from the ammo-fairy and need to do it all over again

Ha ha you dumb -blam!- get in a lobby where no one does it and let me kno howany times you have to wipe. It takes a total of 30 secs to perform and it makes the hard crota seem like easy crota. You need the sword bearer dropped but he went far left, not sa problem let me throw 3 ghorn at him and drop his ass. Oh your fireteam has a week heavy weapons, no problem let me throw 2 ghorn at crota and he drops. Oh you ran out of rockets to kill the ogres, not a problem let me drop both of them for you.... Get the point? You need more than -blam!-ing 7 rockets in the hard crota raid dumb -blam!-. Quit your whining bc the people who are doing the glitch are carrying your ass threw crota.....

I prefer people use the glitch as the synth does have a 5 min cool down... I'd rather save the synths for when you're in a pinch mid crota fight but that's jus my opinion

[b]Story[/b] Guy told me to not do the heavy glitch and use synthesis (I was the only one really firing rockets at anything and I have Gjallarhorn) Previously we were only doing so good since I did it. I then proceed to not do anything since I am not wasting a synth. 30 seconds into starting the timer Swordbearer dies because we didn't have enough DPS on his shield. ______________________ I wonder the -blam!- why. It's (about) 30 goddamn seconds and it's only decreasing the time it will take to finish it.

if youre doing hard mode crota having a bunch of heavy packs around helps a lot you only get 7 ghorns / 6 hoc and whatever number of any other rockets per synth every 5 mins the crota fight takes like 6 mins it is much easier not to worry about heavy ammo if you want it done correctly then stop bitching about the glitch and keep failing crota :P

Yea i feel the same way when you are ready to go and ppl are standing there wasting ammo when they have heavy.

I'm not gonna waste heavy ammo synth when you can calm yourself for 30 seconds and I can have 80-100 rockets on the ground instead of waiting 5 minutes per 7

7 RepliesI do it and I have over 400 synths between my 3 characters. Doing the glitch allows me to fire up to 3 gjallarhorn at the sword bearer and 2 for each down on crota. I'll usually pop a synth in the oger room. That helps us get people through the hard raid.

My buddy and I help people throughout the week on hard Crota. If people start doing the heavy glitch we leave. We don't wanna wait when they have synths on hand. It's a big waste of time.

Synths have a cool down. I'd rather have 20-25 packs laying on the ground. You get 4 Gjallarhorn rockets if you equip a heavy with the perk surplus (corrective measure). So I'm not against it

1 ReplyI can't stand listening to bullets go off constantly in that room.. I either A: Turn down the sound.. B: Go sit down where Crota spawns and wait for teammates to finish shooting. ..tho the absolute worst part is when we die shortly after on HM.. you guys do it ALL over again..lol... ..in a group of randoms with minimal skill.. ..and you'll be standing shooting bullets into walls for a longer period of time than the actual fight itself..

I understand your frustration.waiting for people to empty clip upon clip because they think everything has to be empty before starting the crystal.then they die... But let me tell you how it is from my perspective.i will use WOC and empty my clip to 40.(40 is what destiny refills)this only takes 12 seconds.activate the crystal and fire off the rest.by the time i shoot my last bullet the glass is down. Now that there is purple everywhere i switch out to ghorn and get my 7 rockets. As soon as im out on the platform i ghorn the shit outa the swofd bearer making sure he goes down ultra fast. Then rocket tbe shit out of crota.if need be i will have plenty of rockets for orges. Back upstairs refill some more rinse and repeat.oh and im never the person to die first. Since doing the glitch only takes 12 seconds and i make sure im doing everything i can to help i would think people would want the glitch done. Im a titan and i sword bear all the time on normal and i love it when people have ghorn and not afraid to actually use rockets against the sword bearer and orges. There's a right way and a wrong way to use the glitch. Also in the random games people dont ammo glitch i have to wait even longer because people are saying "waiting for synth to cool down" lololol whats the difference? And if its not synth it waiting for supers so people can create orbs...

3 RepliesFor a tiny bit of everyone's time I (and whoever else is smart enough to do it as well) can have near limitless rockets to fire. Swordbearer comes out and is hit with 10 rockets immediately, never have to worry about him running into the Ogre room and everyone wiping. Ogres? No problem, everyone crushes them with rockets.
