And holy shit am I enjoying it.
Bungie's glory days didn't start with Halo or Destiny guys.
-
Well obviously not destiny that games caca but marathon was basically there bridge to halo. There are so many marathon references in halo though and many think they could be in the same universe.
-
I've heard good things about Myth as well, but I have yet to get into it. The user Hylebos made a thread way back comparing themes from it to Destiny. I suggest trying it out if you can because I know I will.
-
dude Marathon is the shiznit. I remember my friends and I had Marathon LAN parties every weekend. if you really want to play a great Bungie game play the Myth series - probably the best RTS' ever made!
-
Game sucks.
-
How much is it on steam?
-
No, the glory days ended with halo and destiny.
-
I just started it, I really like it
-
Where did you download it????? Ive been looking for ages.
-
Bungie changed gaming completely, past and future, with every masterpiece created. No game would be the same or even thought of without them. Thank you Bungie <3
-
I really enjoyed it. It's just a great game.
-
I'm seriously at a loss to explain how more people aren't playing it today, it's fantastic, and free on Linux, Windows and Apple computers.
-
Stop playing! Marathon sucks broooo! ;)
-
Guess I missed this thread. Sorry about that. Anyway, if you are interested in playing Marathon, you can get it from source.bungie.org. If you are interested in playing some Marathon, check out For Carnage Apply Within. We play it frequently.
-
Of course Destiny didn't start their glory days!
it murdered them
-
Little late on this
-
Sadly I've never played it :( I started with Bungie on Halo: CE back in the old days...wish I'd experianced the old old days though,
-
It has the best story I've ever experienced in a video game. I wasn't around when it came out, but I still love it and play it today.
-
Bungie's glory days didn't start with Halo or Destiny guys.
You got the second part right. In all seriousness though, Marathon was easily the best Corridor Shooter of the time.
-
More people need to go back and play it. It's one of the few old FPS games that I can still enjoy today. Especially since it's free and looks better than ever with Aleph One.
