What do you rate destiny?
I would give it around a 88/100
I love the gameplay and visuals. There is amazing world/weapon design and everything feels silky smooth. I love the raids and strikes are really fun. PVP can be a blast with friends as well. The story was lacking but it really wasn't terrible to me. I can handle RNG because I actually like grinding and like slowly receiving awesome gear, but it could be better. The game has some server issues and can be a bit laggy, but overall I like the game a lot and look forward to playing it over the years.

Its between a 7 and an 8. Bungie did an amazing job holding back all the potential this game had. But it's still getting better I love the way I can now manage my gear using my phone. That's pretty nice and really handy. It's a good addition to make the game bit more better but this game needs MOAR in game content. And please stop adding materials kinda sucks that the only way to get radiant shards is by constantly doing Crotas end. I thought raids were supposed to be fun? not a weekly chore. Hopefully bungie won't repeat this mistake in the house of wolves. I would continue but I'll simply say that this game is only going to get better with time :)

I thoroughly enjoy playing Destiny every single day. One may call it a problem. PvP is not my favorite, but I've put in my time on it and enjoy it for the most part. This is the most fun "open world" game I think I've ever played. Yes, it gets repetitive, but the social aspect of the game (presuming you find decent people (in terms of not being a douchebag, not being good at the game)) makes the game a lot more fun than it is playing by yourself, which I did for the first two months or so of it.

People play for many reasons and not all of them are for enjoyment. If it wasnt for the co op gameplay I can enjoy occasionally with friends, slow release of interesting ps4 titles, and the need for a mindless escape from the real world I would have stopped playing long ago. Playing with friends does not make the game fun. The conversations and finding new ways to troll each other are what is fun. Other people are merely victims of the psychologically addicting aspects of the game. Again, does not necessarily make it enjoyable. The mechanics are smooth, the visuals are pleasing, and the audio is good. I like that Bungee actually true to emphasize co op gameplay but it can be difficult to find a good full time group since most people already have one or overextended themselves trying to help everyone. Destiny is what I would consider a game with no point to play. A mindless grind when you need to pass some time and have nothing better to do. Much like a movie you have on in the background that you arent really interested in but there is nothing better on. So even with its merits...I honestly have to give it a 6 or a 7. Its mediocre at best. I was far more impressed with the free indie valiant hearts game pan gave away this month. Yes I know its a 10 year plan and all of that crap, but can anyone honestly tell me why we have beaten any boss in the game? TL:DR - My personal opinion about the game you will probably disagree with and flame me for. EDIT: I'm not complaining about the game. I accept it for what it is and play it whenever I feel like playing something that doesn't require thought. I am not going to let it pass for being some masterpiece it isnt though.

Steadily declining the last couple months from a strong 9 to a moderate 6-7 while occasionally playing now. Started great and last month or so I've began to lose interest.

4 RepliesI love how so many people complain about this game then a poll like this comes out and proves that it's not half as bad as people say. EVERY poll I've seen trying to discredit destiny shows most people really do enjoy this game.

Game mechanics are awesome but there's no story, tons of glitches & gear becoming obsolete when DLC drops to force you to grind some more is ridiculous.

I don't understand anything if people who put more than 50 hours in the game would rate it below 6, or even 7. I've never put that many hours behind a game I didn't like. So either they are really but hurt, or really childish since they don't get the exotics/legendaries they really want. And if you're grown tired of the game that's no excuse to give it less score.

I think the rating of a game can never be determined considering some people will love it and others will completely hate it, the rest in between. But I for one think this game is great. I hate story mode in every game so yea this one was short and sweet. Pvp needs so room for improvement but if I want to do fps pvp I'll just play cod. The one and only thing I have an issue with on the pve side is connection. No matter how good your connection is you will eventually be kicked. Overall I love this game one of my top 5 all time for console games

There are a couple of things Destiny needs, but all in all - its an excellent game. I only think it needs more in it because I love it so much, and love the potential in it. A 10 would be too much because of the glaring bugs and issues still present, and the lack lustre story - but a 7 wouldn't be enough, because of the sheer amount of time I've been able to invest into it. It's a 9 for me.

Well gameplay wise it is about an 8, but based off of my 1000+ hours it is a 10.

Considering I've put in so much time into this game I give it a 9. But with the way bungie and Activision treated this game I won't give it a 10
