This is a follow up to this post: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/99268477 I took a 3 week break from Destiny because I only need the Crux of Crota & The Red Death, went back last Tuesday to play again to see my chances on getting any of those two. Killed Crota with all my 3 characters no Crux this week, Gorgon Chest, Atheon, Ir Yut and no Red Death, at least I got a Hawkmoon and a Hardlight but I already had them. Back to my point, the picture you see is a screengrab from the inventory from all my 3 characters (minus the ones stored at the Vault). What is useless right now for players who are level 30+?(which eventually everyone will be): Ascendant Shards & Energies, we don't need them anymore as you can see I have 800 Ascendant Energies (I only have like 6 weapons that I don't use left to fully upgrade), 799 Ascendant Shards, that won't work for Crota's End Gear (and I don't think they'll be used for HoW gear). Vanguard Commendations: 22, Crucible Commendations: 21, I don't need anything from the vendors, useless to me and to a lot of people. 92 Radiant Shards (and I still have to run the first 3 parts of Crota's End with my Titan), I have all of the new gear maxed, even some duplicates with different stats, in a month or two they'll be useless too. 43 Radiant Energies, right now I have all Crota's End weapons maxed, so they're useless to me and soon will be to everyone else. 9 Exotic Shards, right now the only Exotics that I need to upgrade are the Invective & the Red Death once I get it, so I'll have 7 sitting there until the next DLC unless they introduce any other "Wolf Exotic Shards". What needs fixing ASAP: Materials taking another space if you have more than 200 & the synthesis at 20. If I can stack up 2,419 Weapon Parts, why can't I have more of the other items without taking another space? Bungie, this is your game, you design it they way you want it to, and I like the way you listen to the community and fix(sometimes break my mistake) many issues in a reasonable time, and also implement ideas from the community in the game. Suggestions: If I could share all those Ascendant Shards to people new to the game I would, but I think it's better for Destiny to not have a player trading system because that will make it easier for everyone to have everything and people will play less, and could also open a black market for shares, etc. What I'm thinking is, I don't know, let us "dismantle" as many as we want for glimmer, or let us exchange it to any other material or consumable, something like that, that way those things will still have value and help us grind less for "x" item/s or glimmer and actually enjoy the game more. And the most requested one, more Vault space if we can't do anything with those items so they don't take space. Sure I can scrap them but I won't get anything from them, I just keep them because I hope someday they'll be of some use. And as I said I'm not speaking about the 100% Destiny gamers, I know many people still need this items but eventually they will face my same issue and I know I'm not alone in this, many friends and many groups that I play with have the same issue. I would like to hear your opinion on this, who's with me and why, who's against me and why, who kinda agrees with me and why, let our voice be heard to continue perfecting this game, but please stay on topic and keep it respectful.
