Weekly matchmaking sucks
Me and my gf play together all the time and one of us always get kicked for some reason this time wasn't the exption. We were murdering prime when my game froze and I had to restart my console. My gf was waiting for me to come back and the stupid matchmaking got someone in after that my gf also got kicked from the game.. and obviously we can safely assume that the other dude got everything he needed. (Not to mention he join when prime had only but a hair of life and didn't do anything but maybe shoot him once.) This freaking sucks. It keeps happening too. Definetly an experienced ruined from now on. THANK YOU BUNGIE.

I also agree that the option to be in matchmaking should be made available instead of mandatory. The same thing happened with three of my friends. Two of us had our game freeze and when trying to get back into the fireteam we were replaced by matchmaking people.

I wish there was an option to not have matchmaking active for it... Sometimes I wanna -blam!- around at RocketsMcDickFace and jump on the ships with a friend

~80% in favor of matchmaking. I would say that's pretty overwhelming.

I like having the option. Not gonna use it much honestly but it's nice to know it is there when I need it. Only used it once so far and somebody just bailed halfway through (probably a connection error) but it's not hard to 2 man it.

I think its great. Sometimes you have like 30/40 mins and you just wanna pack your 3 Heroic Weeklies straight up, and in that case matchmaking helps a lot. Nightfall is a bit different, requires a bit more skills and strategy (well, maybe not for Sepiks who get wiped 3 times like a breeze yesterday...). But yes in my case I love it. I can imagine that what happened with ur gf is not cool, but well, redo it again, its only 15/20 mins ;)

I'd be fine if nightfall was matchmaking also. I don't need 2 specially picked people to do it, any random scrubs would do. I don't need to add 2 new people every week to my friends list of 300 people i don't know

Too many people who AFK. I don't usually complain about level, but too many low level people who don't know how to not get killed.

Are you and your girlfriend playing in the same house from the same wi fi? That could be the problem. I always get kicked from the tower or from a crucible match every time my brother goes into the tower on his PS4. The matchmaking screens really -blam!- network connection up.

I'm fine with it. Been running my alt through matchmaking. Had some good and some bad. Happy it is there when my usual fireteam aren't available

You do know you can literally just find a person to sit afk or run with. I understand if you liked to duo it with your SO but what one person couldn't make it that horrific could it?

1 ReplyIt was pretty stupid making it mandatory. Some people like doing it solo or with one other person. Making it optional would have been much better, it would have kept everyone happy. Options are good, Bungie.
