This specific article is an excellent idea on how to make the PvE side of Destiny more engaging and fulfilling in areas concerning loot. It is also a good suggestion of how to balance that with PvP. In short, Paul describes how PvE players could have a system of being able to create a more customized and interesting "build" for their guardians through being able to use more than one Exotic Armor / Weapon at a time. Paul goes on to talk about how this could be prevented in PvP to avoid "unbalancing" the game between those of us who raid regularly / have every exotic out there and those guardians who don't.
