The best action flick ever. Not only does it have Spielberg (spelling?) quality, its got some awesom pant-wetting moments that i havent forgotten since i saw it in theaters when i was 3. i used to be a huuuuge fan of JP (a bigger fan than i am of Halo) but unfortunatly, JP3 had to not be by Steve and it sucked.
anywho, who else liked this movie?

JP3 was like an AVP typa thing. it sucked and it was short.
Posted by: Shishka Somehow I think my JP3 would have been better. =(
As do I.
-
The first one was the best, the second was more actiony, and the third...well that was not as good.
-
jurrasic park 1 was good, but they got worse as they went on.......
Posted by: Halifax I think it is and...hmm, in conjunction with my other post, I think Indiana Jones 4 is confirmed too.
i seriously doubt it. if they do, it'll probably be like a "Dumb and Dumberer" kinda think, where they just try to sell the name.
Posted by: Halifax I think it is and...hmm, in conjunction with my other post, I think Indiana Jones 4 is confirmed too.
How can they do Indiana Jones without Ford? He's too old now to be playing that part so I hope they don't make a IJ4. It just wouldn't be the same without Ford being Jones.
Posted by: kewlkat not even close to the 'best' action film ever, what are you 10 yrs old?
thanks for your input. well, not really thanks, because you pointlessly flamed me because you dissagree with my (and many, many others) opinions. anywho, is JP4 confirmed? anyone know?

Jurassic 5 is a weird rap group.
-
Yeah, the first two were great, but the third was bad
-
First one is great. I can't remember the second except that it was kinda scary. The third...seemed to light and happy for people being chased by dinosaurs. It reminded me of a mix between land before time, and Indiana Jones. Except the humour wasn't even that good.

Congrats to Randomlyissued. If he is 14, then he writes suprisingly mature and interesting posts. If however he is a 60 yr. old prevert, trying to lure us into a false sense of security before he asks us for home addresses and pictures, then that's different.

The third one was so terrible it was a riot. I loved the advertising before there were any trailors or anything, they kept going on about how smart the Raptors were, etc, etc. I had this image in my head; Grant and the gang running desperately through jungle vines and foliage, their faces and arms cut from the dangerous jungle plantlife. Behind them, something large is forcing its way through the trees, letting loose such a roar that they nearly a shaken off their feet. Just as all hope is lost, an old facility is sighted. They bolt for it, narrowly avoiding the maw of the predator that has hunted them across the island. As the last of them reach the building, they shut the door behind them, throwing the five bolts. They turn around to see... ...The raptors. Fifty of them. At desks. On computers. Wearing headsets. "My god," Grant gasps, "They've started their own E-business." --- Somehow I think my JP3 would have been better. =(
Posted by: RandomlyIssued but it was an uninteresting story. it was good, but very boring. i didnt like the books too much. the movie was better.
Hey, to each their own. I enjoy reading books more than seeing movies. That is why I want to read The Da Vinci Code before it becomes a movie. The books are almost always better than the movies, but I still want to see how the screenplay writer interpreted the book.
Posted by: dmbfan09
Posted by: RandomlyIssued The Lost World: Jurrassic Park: The reason it didnt follow the book is because nothing even happened in the book. all it was was people going to Isla Sorna and watching dinosaurs. there was 1 raptor chase seen, thats it. The movie was a great sequel tho.
What!?!? Call me a traditionalist, but I believe that if you want to make a movie from a book, make a movie from the book. Of course, that rarely ever happens because screenplay writers have to take some liberties to fit a movie in a reasonable time. The only movie I have ever seen that pretty much follows a book word-for-word was The Green Mile. The only differences between the movie and the book (actually, books), was that the book would cut back to the old people between each chapter, and the mouse died at the end of the book (signifying that Paul Edgecomb would eventually die). Anyway, the movie (JP2) was horrible. Just my opinion.
so, youde rather the movie was a bunch of people watching apatosaur's walk by from a high rise for 4 hours? really, Speilberg did a great job with TLW:JP. And its not really based on the book, its just the name and the general idea.
