Scrubs

I've noticed a lot of people using the term "scrub" in the game and on these forums and I've put a lot of thought into understanding the term and its use. Since the term was first brought into mainstream use and used to describe something other than cleaning by TLC in 1999, I'll assume the definition set in the like-titled song to be the only valid one. This leads me to the conclusion that there are a lot of guys who play this game who are very selective regarding which guys they will give their love to; since a scrub is defined as "a guy who can't get no love from me" and they seem to call a lot of guys scrubs. The part I find strange is that so many guys are even considering giving their love to other guys on Destiny. It's not the orientation part that I think is strange (to each their own) but more the medium. I'm not sure Destiny is the best place to find love to begin with, regardless of sexual orientation. Further on the TLC (all girl 90s pop band by the way, kids) song that brought about this term everyone thinks is so cool: What is so wrong with hanging out of the passengers side of his best friends ride trying to holler? It seems that she's assuming that he doesn't have his own car just because he's a passenger in his friend's car at that moment. I have my own car and have ridden with friends when we go somewhere together, I would think that would be fairly common. Anyway, can anyone tell me why so many guys are trying to find guys to love on Destiny and why they are so selective about it?
