Sure the weapon looks like something out of Arthurian legend....but I'm pretty sure if you shoot a rocket at someone they are going to die. So please, someone tell me how this makes you a better player?

Edited by Avenge JD: 3/6/2015 2:20:23 AMWolfpack rounds is the answer to this question. Without wolfpack rounds Gally would be just another launcher. You want to do major damage to a boss Gally can get it done. You want to clear out some trash mobs Gally can handle it with ease and its all because of wolfpack rounds. Edit I forgot to put. The weapon doesn't make you a better player. It just makes it a little easier. You where just lucky to get it.

In PvP Truth dominates any launcher. In pve, wolfpack rounds annihilate everything
-
You don't have one? Poor baby... I thought it was all hype too, and then I got sone. You have to use it to understand.
-
I want it purely for the aesthetics.
-
Because shooting one rocket is too mainstream, so I shoot a rocket that breaks up into little mini rockets.
-
Its got a cool name...
-
Its DA BAYEST!!!! (Nacho Libre)
-
I don't even have one lol I've just seen so many posts of people wanting to die over this thing. The Wolfpack sounds like quite a trait though.
-
Do u even Wolfpack?
-
It's a crutch for crota
-
Because little babies who got lucky drops think xur shouldn't sell it because that isn't earned. Most people think that having a gally will ruin the game by making it easier. Everyone one said if he sold icebreaker it would get nerfed and he would never sell it. I ran nexus strike with everyone using a vex and a black hammer and i will tell you gally isn't the fastest way to take down a boss.

If you shoot a gun at something, it eventually dies too...does that mean that all guns are created equal? There are no such things as stupid questions, only stupid....ya know

Tracking and wolf pack rounds. If you've never used one fully upgraded, you'll never understand
-
Honestly, it's the Wolfpack Rounds. It's almost like shooting 3 regular rockets. Main impact, plus 6-8 smaller explosions in one shell. Takes a lot of power from significant bosses.
-
It does real good dps damage to mini bosses and regular bosses. Makes things faster and easier. I could drop crota by myself on normal doubling up 2 shots of maxed ghorn on my 32
-
Tracking rocket with Wolfpack rounds. Pretty much fires 2 rockets from a single rocket and it's just beautiful. One of the rarest things in the game to obtain as well
-
Now I can understand its use in raid/boss battles. But do I think it is worth the thousands of tears and gripes I see on these forums? Not even close.
-
Well if you only play patrol then your statement would be true and Gjallarhorn would be unnecessary
-
The Elitist perk automatically makes you better than everyone else and also worthy of the hard Crota raid (if you're level 32 with a list of 17 other requirements).
-
Yeah, dismantle the Ghorn if you get it. It's not worth it. Stick with No Land Beyond, Universal Remote, Hard Light, and Super Good Advice. Any other exotics besides the ones listed are crap and should be dismantled.
-
Waste of Exotic slot.
-
If the rocket kills the target the Wolfpack rounds seek everything around and kill it too.
-
It's mainly good for raids because it's basically two rockets in one and it tracks
-
Doesn't make me better, but makes raids and strikes faster and easier.
-
Bro. Wolfpack rounds
-
It hammers you with a Tracking rocket before impact of that said rocket it launches off several other rockets that finish off your corpse. So in English. Slammed by one rocket then hit by a few other rockets.
