Inept Gaming is a new Destiny Raiding Clan formed by 6 raiders who have been clearing Vault of Glass since "Vanilla" Destiny. We clear Crota's End HM on a weekly basis. We also run Nightfalls/Weekly Heroics and engage in the Crucible when not raiding. I'm Slegz, and I'm the Founder and Raid Lead of Inept. If you're looking for a small but active raiding community that is just getting started, read below. These are currently the requirements for joining: - [b]PS4 Only[/b] [As of 2/19/15, we are only a PS4 clan] - [b]Age 18+[/b] [This can be overlooked with proper recommendations from current clan members] - [b]One Guardian Level 31 or Higher[/b] [Multiple raid-ready characters is a HUGE plus] - [b]Max Weapons[/b] [Requiring specific weapons would be stupid, but having maxed out legendaries/exotics is a must] - [b]Show Up Ready[/b] [Have your weapon synths and all your raid weapons on your character come start time] - [b]Have a Microphone[/b] [Know when to communicate and know when to shut up] - [b]Knowledge of Your Class[/b] [Know when to switch weapons and attributes/subclass dependent on encounters] - [b]Download Slack[/b] [Slack is the form of communication we use to chat] Those are the only concrete requirements as of right now, but if anyone has previous MMO experience and knows what it's like to be in a raiding clan, this is how the clan will be run. When you are placed in a raid group, you will discuss with your raid lead a day and time for you to raid. You are then expected to show up at the day/time or expected to provide notice of your absence ahead of time so the raid lead can prepare a substitute Guardian. Speaking of the raid lead, what he says goes. You're more than welcome to comment and share your opinion on something during the raid, but ultimately, the raid lead will be responsible for strategies used, along with the following regulations: - Setting a time and date for the team to get together and raid - Sending party invites out 5-10 minutes prior to raid time - Organizing the raid team and delegating roles/responsibilities - Keep encouraging your teammates instead of harping on their mistakes - Offer help and suggestions if you see something that will help another Guardian We are a small squad with only 1 full raid team and 2 other active members right now, so we are looking for people that are competent and have the knowledge and skill in this game to run a team of others through the toughest encounters Bungie throws at us. While I do want the clan to expand, I'd like to keep the clan small and active, at a size around 30. That might seem quite small, but 30 active players is 5 active raid teams. This will give each of the teams a little pool of players to pick from if they need to run alternate characters through the current (or past) raid content.
