Summary
Control A
Fight B
Forget C
Zones
Zone A has a heavy ammo respawn closeby and respawn spots for guardians are pretty oke unlike zone C which truly -insert ugly word here- like hell. So forget about zone C, never touch it and certainly never capture it. Like ever. Try to capture zone B and make a stand there guarding zone A as your home.
Weapons
Fusion rifles or shotguns for special.
FAQ
Q: But zone C is closeby, why shouldn't i capture it?
A: If you think participating is more important then winning then be my guest, otherwise...

The only zone that matters in this map is controlling B. If you have A or C it doesn't really matter as either one people funnel in the same way. To be honest it's better to have C and B than A and B because there's 2 ways in to B for C when people get sick of being pummeled through the window. Whereas A everyone comes up the ramp and it's pretty much open season on kills shooting down the ramp. Pretty much no one ever comes in the window above point B ever, regardless of which spawn they have. Just my personal opinion and people can disregard it because my K/D isn't up to snuff. ;)

.89 kd and giving advice. Hahahahahahahahaha
-
How about people play how ever they want for fun and not care how YOU or anyone else thinks they should play instead.
-
Also, stop jumping through the window from zone c!!! It's a death trap!!!!
-
U will always need sum1 to anchor A spawns as well as a at least 1 patrolling around as back up in case they rush A to flip spawns If sum idiot caps C, go straight to A & force spawns to flip The best lines of sight are more like mid range where assault rifles & handcannons excel at, shotgun if you're rushed or see multiple opponents in an area U can earn so many points even as a solo player on this map the way B is set up Switch between your primary & special constantly here

Would also like to see someone who has a little better K/D in Crucible providing advice on how to excel in it.

My fireteam of 4 faced a clan of 6 here yesterday in a game of clash. We couldn't help but laugh as they repeatedly jumped through the c window into the big hallway only to be repeatedly mowed down. Pretty funny stuff.
-
If you spawn at C IMMEDIATELY run through the lower level doors and run through to the ramp that leads inside up to A. Sometimes you can back door their B runners as well as catch a smaller force at A to contend with. When we roll a full fireteam, we can usually takes A right off the break

Thank you sir. Tips for Cauldron?

If i see the map firebase delphi that's the first thing i think of, please spawn us at A because C is the losing side unless you can flip it so they spawn at C, i have had it where the enemy team has constantly jumped through the window into B and just kept getting killed lol If a team can control around B on that map then you should win really easily, to cap B back isn't the easiest either. And to any one out there who doesn't know where the heavy ammo spawns, look them up because it drop's every game 2-3 times so if your not first there expect to die alot afterwards. Now the patch has come out no one drops heavy ammo when they die so just get it whether your going to die or not just stops them from getting it :)

P.S. best way to take A back is with a fire grenade, Khvostov, throwing knife and your gunslinger super just to take care of the respawn fickers Warlocks and titans need not apply
-
Sad but true. Same for capping A in ~wait for it.... Blind watch~ it's just... poorly balanced and leads to nothing but headaches.
-
Thanks! I'm certainly a dummy in the crucible but I'm trying to find my groove. I just keep making stupid decisions and start trying to force the kills instead of letting them come to me. And then die, repeatedly :)
-
Shhhhhhh... Don't tell them, let them learn over time

Edited by ManBearPigIets: 2/28/2015 10:19:19 AMC here, and A on Blind Watch. Pretty much death sentences for your team.

Apparently, my mother does know best. Listen to your mother, kids... She knows what's best for you. Seriously, though, I can't have my mic on when on this map with randos'. Otherwise, I be all ragin' and junk!

Edited by FromNowOn: 2/28/2015 9:44:18 AMEDIT: what I said has been said
-
Lol you don't even put in the first heavy time? I think that's the biggest thing in all game types. Teams never gather around the heavy or even know when the first one is up. A lot of people don't wait for their teammates either.
-
Edited by Loot Cave Rave: 2/28/2015 8:41:36 AMOtherwise what? And what tips would you give for capping zone C? Why do we both have equally poor KD ratios, yet you post tactics for PvP and I don't?

Edited by TheFlyingRocket: 2/28/2015 6:04:39 AMDo you really think casual players come to the bungie forums? If they did it would be great for them to read this. But in the end if I am not playing to win and just do bounties then I will capture the point which help's me the most like Sniper head shots I will take C because it is the best spot on that map to snip.
-
You forgot the equip Mythoclast step. Also, best way to rush A is the doorway that leads under B.
-
Dude. Stop. Let the scrubs play the crucible and learn on their own. If everyone was guud, it wouldn't be fun. It would be challenging.
-
What I like to do if spawned at C, is have a few players or all rush zone A at the start and not even capture C, works pretty well as most players don't expect it.
-
Thank you for this

So you're plan for spawning at zone C is to immediately rush zone B and then look to zone A. This isn't a very good tactic. The reason A spawn is so powerful is because it allows you to capture and defend B easier. So logically if you bum-rush B at the beginning, enemies will respawn at A (you won't be able to recap A), and eventually push you out of zone C. The correct course of action is to have one person capture zone C and everyone else charge for A. Hopefully you can flip the spawn at the expense of B and the opposing team has to take one zone in order to stay relevant.
