Bungie, I have been playing for a couple of months and have had a pretty good time of it, once I figured out the leveling and reward system. It's a great game. I am not a Crucible kind of guy and don't have a Raid team but have enjoyed the strikes and campaign. But I just visited Xur and picked up this weeks weapon thinking it would save some time since the screen gave me the option to upgrade the weapon from Xur, as well. Of course, I lost the exotic shard, the glimmer, and the weapon did not upgrade at all. I think it is a reasonable interpretation of the information on the screen that purchasing the "upgrade equipped exotic" would mean one is purchasing the upgrades for that weapon. Would you give some consideration to changing the information on that screen to indicate it is for older exotic weapons and not the current version of those weapons? Perhaps there is a way to program the mechanism to check for older versions and only make the option available if it applies to that player's inventory. Best regards and thanks.
