Between the weapons patch that balanced guns in my opinion very well improving quite a bit of my selection (I like pulse rifles). I like the weekly strike playlist function even without the option to solo (which would be nice and maybe can come in a future update). Heavy ammo bug gone. The ability to swap items from the app or the browser is fantastic, as a person who has 3 characters and to cut down on all the constant in/out of orbit has leveled most guns in triplicate. This alone is so big its hard to quantify. THIS HAPPENS INSTANTLY and can be done WHILE you are playing live in the game from your app. So if you left something in the vault or on another character and you need it for the nightfall or bounty you don't have to worry, you can swap it in ***INSTANTLY***. The ability to SPLIT stacks of consumables now through the app/browser. Life saver here too with all my glimmer/ammo stacks I can now easily transfer and split those out among my characters. For all of the people who say they don't listen, they obviously do. Regardless of the fact many people think you can magically snap your fingers and make things happen, sometimes changes take time. Sometimes they need to hear it enough and also see it in action on their analytics to ensure changes need to get made. Every request will not be added/changed in the game as what you may want, I may not and vice versa. Not to mention having to understand balance. But this patch ranks right up there with the one we got shortly before TDB where we had the first round of gun tweaks, exotic tweaks, 10 bounty slots, purchasable mats, etc. They are listening and better yet, acting. For all the hate that they get its amazing how many of you still play this game for hours every day. I just wanted to make sure they realized we were not all in that same boat and some of us appreciate it. This patch is getting a TON of praise in our clan forums and we all realize how great it is for us in the game and have already seen it in action. What do you guys think?

  • I'm really not happy about the nerfs, but otherwise I am happy.

  • @dirtyOldLoobin The swapping items is probably the biggest convenience I have had added to the game for someone with 3 32 characters and trying to manage it all as well as vault space. Everyone I have played with since it happened and who didn't know about it flipped out and loved it. Seems 94% of the people disagree with you scoffing the update as well, are you trying to be difficult just for the sake of doing so? Of our group of 30ish players, we have only had 2 stop playing regularly. I think people over estimate this supposed mass exodus. Patches like these and additional content will only limit those leaving and will bring more back, especially when HOW comes out. Those that left and then have all of these additional creature comforts I believe are going to be pretty happy.

  • Bah, switching the vault so you can switch items? Seems awfully miniscule, but if some swedish 16 year old youtube sensation says so, then it must be done. The heavy ammo? yes it was a problem. Glad it's gone. Too little too late though Bungie better have something amazing in the next month or people are going to leave faster than they already are

  • Also - This was inherently a bump to our vault space. Many of us were running out of space in part due to the duplicates of weapons/armor that we were keeping on our characters or leveling so that we could avoid the loading screens and quickly bounce from character to character. With the app tweaks, although we didn't get the vault bump that we all want and hopefully still comes, it will alleviate a lot of that issue as well. Definitely plan to scrap some of my duplicates later to clean things up a bit since some of the guns are more situational.

  • 64 out of 68 are pretty happy, small sample size so far but thats good feedback and shows that although there are tons of negative posts that it is not the general feeling of the community but more so a vocal minority.

I loved everything about the update tbh. Although I don't understand the auto rifle nerf, but I don't use them so I don't really care. My Red Death is OP now.

  • I still is like the purchasing mats thing. It was frustrating as hell zooming about picking the stuff up, but I think that it should have took a bit of work to level things up. Levelling up is too easy, I think that it should be tougher. Just my opinion. As for gun tweaks, it doesn't matter too much if it takes a few extra bullets to kill an enemy. I do love the vault changes, certainly helps out people with only one of something that want to share it about. Would still like note vault space. I would have liked to collect all the guns but hey ho. I think it would have been cool - and there is tons of room in the tower to do it - to have vendors still selling the level 300 guns and then different one selling the 332 guns. That would have allowed collectors to collect to their hearts content. As it is, all that hard work of developers is being wasted as old guns are deleted to make room for new ones.
