Pve would be completely broken if g horn is sold without a nerf

People say that if xur sells gjallarhorn, people would complain that everything is "too easy" (strikes, etc.) and pvp would be overrun by it. They believe that because it's too easy, Bungie will have to nerf gjallarhorn and boredom of using the same weapon would drive the players away. This does not make any sense. How often do people REALLY use gjallarhorn? We can already establish that in pvp it would not be a problem for 2 reasons: 1.) Heavy ammo drops only twice per match 2.) Most people use other exotics for their exotic weapon slot, because they believe a normal rocket launcher (or a launcher with tracking) is just as effective in pvp as the gjallarhorn. PvP wise, xur selling gjallarhorn would not affect PvP significantly. This is the only game type where if someone else has an exotic you don't have, you are affected greatly. But if gjallarhorn isn't present in PvP as often as last word, suros regime, or vex mythoclast, then there is no issue in PvP. PvE wise is probably the only aspect of them game that has potential to generate a strong enough argument as to why xur should not sell the gjallarhorn. It is often the case that if xur sells it, strikes or raids would become too easy, resulting in a nerf of the gjallarhorn, or the game becoming boring because of how the gjallarhorn makes the game too easy. I'd like to point out that icebreakers and black hammers are up to par with making the game too easy. These special weapons are much more available to many players and are useful in many situations than the gjallarhorn is. If Bungie is worried about the game becoming too easy, selling icebreaker quite often does not follow through with that belief. These guns have been available for a lengthy period of time, and have been used to demolish bosses. Still no nerf. Moving on to the argument of boredom arising from having the gjallarhorn sold. Boredom would not arise if xur sells the gjallarhorn, because people would be excited to have access to a gun they have strived hard to obtain. Where does boredom or any dissatisfaction come into play by fulfilling the community's wishes? If people get bored of using a gun, why would they stop playing Destiny? Wouldn't they simply use another gun to try something new and keep things fresh? I'm sure many people have hit a point where they want to give their "go-to" gun a break and try something new. It would be no different if the gjallarhorn was put into this situation.(It really already is in this situation for the people who have it.) Either way, people in the possession of gjallarhorn would play the game based on their own personal preference to stay happy. Any player plays how they want to stay happy. Gjallarhorn would only enhance the happiness of individuals who are trying countless hours to obtain this weapon. For the people who don't want everyone to have a gjallarhorn, who are you to say everyone doesn't deserve it? People paid 60 dollars and in most cases a little more to have some fun. If you have one yourself, then what harm will come to you if everyone else has it? (Don't dare bring PvP excuses into this. I have already stated valid points as to why PvP would remain in same condition as it is with, or without gjallarhorn) If it's because YOU think the game will be too easy, well then if YOU want the challenge, challenge yourself. Simply don't use it when you play strikes or other missions. Some people like destroying bosses. They feel "badass" doing it. If they get tired of doing that, then they too will try something new other than using the gjallarhorn to continue their enjoyment with the game. Ultimately, selling gjallarhorn has more benefits than drawbacks. There are many players who stand by this belief. Many have given up on this game and quit, because of the major flaws in the reward system. Xur selling gjallarhorn would compensate for that. There are enough exotics that are already meant to be rewarded by chance. The fact that xur has sold the gjallarhorn is one of the major reasons as to why he should sell it again. If he never sold it, it would be understandable as to why he hasn't sold it and as to why so many exotics from xur are repeats that no one wants. If he can sell exotics repeated several times over, why can't that be true for the gjallarhorn? What's better? Having many players quit because they can't get a weapon while others get the weapon they want for the 3rd, 4th, or even more times. Or, bringing satisfaction to players and preventing them from quitting. Sincerely, A player who wants to enjoy the game, and who has not received a hunger of crota, or gjallarhorn, but instead gets 7 black hammers, and 5 icebreakers from random drops. P.S. I think people should not be able to receive more than 3 of the same exotic from random drops unless they have collected them all. Give this game a way to collect (USE XURRR) rather than a completely random reward system.

It's good against crota I'm not gonna lie but honestly I can beat someone using the ghallarhorn in PvP as long as they aren't hiding somewhere like a little pussy

I'm hoping he sells it. Everyone would have it. It would get nerfed. Forums would be filled with tears. If laugh my ass off.
