In case you guys forgotten what you learned in grade school. Parentheses/Exponents -> Multiplication/Division -> Addition/Subtraction. It must be worked left to right. 3+3*3 is 12.

Edited by Anakin's Limbs (Timelost): 3/3/2015 3:16:23 PMDoesn't anyone remember the order of operations? Multiplication always comes before addition, so it is 3 times 3, which equals 9, plus another 3, which equals 12
-
If what it's saying is "three plus three times three", it would be 12. But if you're saying "three plus three cubed" then it would be 30. I wasn't sure what you meant by "*" so I assumed it was either cubed or times
