Warframe Is TAKING ME AWAY FROM DESTINY HELP
Okay so about a month ago I was chillin in orbit on destiny after doing my usual routine on destiny and my friend joins the party and starts talking about this game called Warframe and says how it's wat destiny should have been. So me being a loyal guardian tell him whatever dude your crazy there is no way any game can be like this and be better. So he tells me just check it out and play it for a day so I download it and to myself I'm thinking there is no way but right off the back I see this spaceship I'm flying in like in destiny load screen but I could control it that kinda had me interested but I wasn't gunna let it tear me from destiny that easy. Then the game starts and it tells its opening story and then it tells me to pick a Tenno (space ninja) there were three to pick from at (first) listen to me AT FIRST there was only three like destiny I was like "I can see why he said it like destiny" then I took control of my character and and escaped from this psycho mad man which blew my mind the gameplay was third person but it was sooo fast paced it was grabbing my attention. So my person flys back into space after the mission like destiny but when I got to space...........here is the best mind blow YOU COULD WALK AROUND IN YOUR SHIP and see earth from your ship everything was very detailed my soaceship even had a 3D navigation system AHHHH it was cool. but I later start a mission and find a pretty high ranked guy not lvl cause lvl doesn't mean u know wat ur doing and he tells me that there are............15 different Tenno which are called Warframes (space ninja) so he said its got way more people then destiny at this point I'm hooked they show me the basic controls and told me how to (trade) and wat to get when I get enough money and told me that there is a person that comes on Saturday called the trader that sells really good stuff.....sound familiar except this guy sells good things all the time. So I've been playing Warframe ever since but I look and ask my friends that still play destiny wat new over at destiny and they say nothing and it sucks because Because literally everyone on Warframe has moved from destiny to Warframe and has never went back to destiny. And don't want that to happen to me I liked destiny a lot but it's starting to fade so bungie please do sumthin quick before it's too late I don't want destiny to die. Edit 1: think about it I have spent literally $100 on destiny because of the DLC pass but I can spend 40 dollars on Warframe and get a much better experience and I can do everything you do on destiny but I'm just saying this is not a hate post im jus clarifying

Sounds like a lot of people don't really know warframe. They assume it's pay to win but let's see them drop 200 and go up against some who has even been playing a few days and they won't even match. Almost everything needs to be grinded for and there is a trading system if you need a part. So much customization and yes takes some research to learn stuff. If they put effort into it well they may find it very rewarding.

3 RepliesI'll admit that warframe can be very fun. However it is a really confusing game to get into. You have to grind and grind forever to get anything, and it can take days or weeks to get a single item. Combat is fun, bus admittedly clunky. You can play just about any way you want (I am quite fond of the bo staff) but it is never all that smooth. The running and jumping is also a bit clunky, making the parcore not the best. Then there's the ever expansive microtransaction store that should not be there. Literally every item in the game can be bought with real money. He'll, you even need to pay money to obtain the majority of the color customisation available in the game. and since they make obtaining any gear such s chore, it all but forces players to spend real money just to get some loot. (I know the game is free to play and needs the income but microtransactions are the bane of most games. I just can't really approve of them to such an extent.) I like warframe. However it is not for everyone. It requires an extreme amount of commitment to get into, and unless you can dedicate quite a bit of time to it you can't really get that far. Its a game that is more designed for the mmo fanbase.

3 RepliesI always wanted to try this game but didn't because of micro transactions. Can someone please reply and be brutally honest about how far I can get in game without spending any real money? Would it take months or years to gear up a character without purchases?

I play Destiny but I'm about to hit 500hours and it's just every week and everyday the same thing so I went to warframe. Warframe a lot more fun and theirs more planets(14 planets) Destiny only has 3 boring. So everyone reading this go to warframe it's great and theirs a lot more characters than 3 in Destiny.

I love warframe! Plus they have player trading! Which is awesome! Also, you dont have to spend money on the game to get far. You can buy blueprints with the game's currency(credits) and farm the resources, which is actually very easy once you unlock a few more planets. This game is fun and very well thought out.

Why'd you spend $40 on Warframe? I played it for a night or 2 and saw where there were some weapon packs you could buy, but is there a retail version or something that you paid the $40 for? Cheers

4 RepliesTo everyone that says warframe sucks because you have to spend real money. Well guess what you don't have to spend a dime to get the best stuff. Ever heard of something called trading? You may not have since destiny has failed to implement it. You trade your prime findings for platinum. Spend platinum on what you want. Or turn in prime parts for currency for the void trader on the relays which are both better than xur and the tower if I do say so myself.

I agree it was a fun game but the fan base really died off after destiny came out atleast on the ps4. I had all the prime stuff available before destiny dropped and had 7 dollars invested into it. Thought it was great, was definitely grindy but allowed u to keep going if u didn't get what u wanted and there was no reset timer either just get another key and go again. If I could get my clan mates back into it I would def start playing it again

It took Warframe a long time to add the ships and walking around in them. Both are fun games.

Warframe is a lot better than destiny, but destiny can be fun occasionally.

I actually just started playing warframe. I dont know much about the grind aspect yet. But I picked volt and the bow and arrow and sword. And I love using that freaking thing. I am not going to go as far as to say it will take me away from destiny, but until HoW it is a great time killer.
