50 VoG on Hard done and no Vex Mythoclast
Four hours ago me and my friends did the VoG on Hard to see if I could get the Vex Mythoclast, we did two of them and in both my Arcane and in my Titan I got two freaking helmets on Atheon, no sign of Vex at all, the closest I got from the Vex was when I did it with my friends and they got it over and over. Tomorrow I'm gonna do one more run with my last character and see if I can get one. Seriously Bungie, I helped a lot of people for nothing, even starters got Vex on their 1st try, and I couldn't get one after my 50th! It's not just me 'suffering' because of your lovely RNG system. Just give my Vex already, I just want one.

It's all about luck, I got mine last week. I used to obsess about this gun, now that I've got 3/4 of the exotics out there it drops for me. I'd given up ever thinking I'd get it, I like VOG because it's hard and I'm trying to get Fatebringer and Praetorian Foil.

1 ReplyYou must be doing this wrong. 23 Total Completions (probably 15 hard) 5 Vex 1 Fatebringer 1 Corrective Measure 6 Found Verdict 3 Praedyths Revenge 3 Praedyths Timepiece 1 Praetorian Foil I did hear about something where if you die inside a portal and your fireteam manages to kill aetheon without you. You will get the vex. I did get two this way but I doubt it had anyhig to do with that.

You didn't help people for nothing, you're only playing because you enjoy the game. Everybody is new at some point, so sometimes you have to help others like people helped you on your first time. It's the way games like this work well. It's when people think they're better than everyone else and expect everybody that has the game to know every last encounter and Google it all before they've even done it that ruin it. I personally wing it every time a new raid/strike I've done. There is no point playing a game you've read about what happens beforehand! This is why I would never join a first world clear clan, it spoils all the fun for me.

Sorry buddy. I have done the hard VOG on two characters so far, my hunter and my warlock. Both times, I got the vex first try. Now I'm just wondering if when I try hard VOG for the first time on my titan...will it give me the vex?

Lol I think I did it once and got it. Got the ghorn aswell and have only completed VoG like 5-10 times

Keep doing it man. I got Ghorn from the chest yesterday then got another Vex from Atheon. Hang in there.

1 ReplyAbout a month ago my son and I joined a VOG HM atheon checkpoint, he had never killed off Atheon in HM (I had) We both got Vex after an extremely smooth 2 teleport finish on first attempt with randoms/lfg- he was relic holder both teleports and I'll admit to being biased but he definitely wasn't carried. Not saying earning it either- just dumb luck/rng Hope you get it soon!! - we have been frying everything with them since -not getting dusty in the vault - Dailys with 2 vex leading the charge are hilarious

The feels... took me until 2 weeks ago (since release). It was fun for about 5 minutes, but it's underwhelming in PvE. It was much more useful before CE road weapons. Not worth the exotic slot.

It's shit anyway. Been nerfed to oblivion and doesn't even have oracle disruptor. They seem to hate raid exotics at Bungie. Unless they fix it (they won't) it probably never will get used again.
