Bizarre Bug in Iron Banner Control EDITED: Youtube Link Added
So, I recently joined a match in The Iron Banner on Shores of Time. When I spawned, there were no players, weapon drops, and control points. I could still see the call-outs ([_____] killed [_____], point [____] secured, etc.) though. Out of curiosity, I stood at the location of one of the control points for a short bit. To my surprise, I captured it. I pretty much spent the round going from point to point, capturing them. Ended up winning the match too. It was rather strange.
Side note: I almost exclusively play skirmish due to the servers' horrible stability, for smaller matches tend to have more stable connections. Also, I think this is perhaps the second time I've ever played control on Shores of Time; map rotation in this game is atrocious. As a result, I didn't know exactly where to stand for point C (doesn't help that I couldn't see the points either).

Just logged about 40 hours into banner this week getting my warlock to rank 5 and my titan to rank 4. Still need to get my Hunter to rank 4 for class items. The struggle is real, also, I've experienced multiple instances of this but it usually went away within a few seconds. Sidenote: I really don't play PvP, so please don't rate me based on my KDR, I am just playing for the vanity items, that is all. Well that and the lottery weapons, that reroll ability at Lord Saladin is pretty bad ass!

Not only that, but in the kill feed, the spaces for names were blank and the weapon icons were the icon you see when either somebody kills themselves or gets killed by one of those objects that explode when you shoot them. I also don't recall hearing the sound of the Hive Seeder... Which is not a bad thing. I could get heavy ammo, though, and when I aimed Truth one time, I heard the lock-on sound, shot, and got a kill. Huh.

This happened to me as well. It brought me from my alternate dimension into the real Iron Banner match after a short period though. I felt like the vex were playing tricks on me. Tossing me into a different time stream.

I remember going into a control match once and for the first one or two minutes we couldn't see the enemy team. We were just capping points and running. All of a sudden they appeared and action ensued. The killfeed was also entirely empty up to that point.

This exact thing happened to me and my squad once. It was crazy. There were no flags and no enemies. Come on Bungie.... what's up with stuff like this?

A lot of stalled respawns going on today in rumble too. Several times, for at least a minute per match where everyone was gone, no alerts as to who killed who happening, etc. It is definitely weird when you're the only one around for stretches of time.

2 RepliesThere was a glitch that happened to my team on Firebase Delphi where nobody on my team spawned for like a minute. So the other team was free to go cap the points in the middle of the match with no resistance while we all stayed dead.

That's pretty weird. Rather Planet of the Apes esque, is anybody out there?! I've had lag issues but never that bad luckily. Although I do remember a few matches where my team was capturing a point and all of a sudden the zone was contested but I couldn't see an enemy opponent. Maybe it was something like this happening, we got "fantom of the opera"d.
