Not gonna go into depth about this and that. At this point everyone who's been on this game since the beginning knows what I know, so I won't bore u. BUT, I have a pretty simple solution to Patrol, and maybe much of the repetitive complaints (raids excluded):
Make enemy spawning random.
Make it random in strikes so that you don't expect that Servator from that door when you thought there'd be a bunch of dregs.
Make it random during patrol so the same damn enemies don't spawn out of the same cave on the same timer as they always did..
Make it random so when I pick up a High Value Target mission on patrol in Russia, I don't expect to go to that back part of the Rocketyard when I thought it was that same old Vandal in the tunnel thing....
Come one guys, it can't be that difficult. People will respond positively to this. Just change the math.

Yeah I don't belive that ALL the foes spawn on nodes and follow a path to a defence area lol I mean practically made for camping. Not even a few random stragglers who wonder (to duck you up when your not looking) Oy. . Just keep your head down guardian and keep pulling that trigger.. no matter what

It would certainly give the game a little more life, since different enemies could make it feel a bit less like you're doing the exact same thing over and over. I like it.
