My main raid group has found success using a variant on mid strategy, and it doesn't center around a bladedancer using an invisibility build as the sword carrier, Here's a guide to beating Crota using two swords featuring a Sunsinger Warlock, with a Titan Defender using Blessing of Light [b]Advantages:[/b] [b]1. [/b] Crota is killed in two cycles of the sword, hence you don't have to go through a round of Ogres. [b]2 . [/b] Defender shield deflects damage from boomer Knights while the Blessing of Light perk provides an added security measure for the Warlock, [b]3.[/b] Your fireteam doesn't need to kill boomer Knights, therefore no Wizard spawns. [b]4.[/b] Like with Atheon, it works seamlessly when everyone has a fully leveled gjallarhorn.
