There aren't many posts focused on Tom Clancy's *The Division* so I thought is start one....
I want to talk about: what are you guys/gals most excited for. For me it's the amount of immersion and realism out into the game.
Fell free to talk about whatever you guys want.(in the bounds of the division)
Thanks!
Edit: You guys can talk about any Tom Clancy game if you want!
Edit 2: thanks for keeping this post alive fellow agents, but let's not stop now continue the discussion about "Black Friday" and the "strategic Homeland Division".
Shout out goes to youngchrismott: the love you have for the late tom Clancy, made want to play the division more
Shout out to: Agent Space Wolf, all the rest of you who have help his thread grow and stay alive:)
Edit 3: I've been watching Marcostyle(great division youtuber) and getting my own evidence, there is a rumored division beta coming out in March, this is not confirmed and is not likely(sorry guys) but it could happen.
I'll be editing the post in a couple hours, stay tuned(maybe less)
Edit 4: hey guys if the division beta comes out soon I will play with any one who has an xboxone my GT: PHANT0MxW0Lf(the 0s are zeros)
never came
I play almost all games on xboxone.
Thanks guys
Edit 5: I saw the dark zone trailer at e3 looks amazing, I like how you can team up or fight other players, what do you guys think?

I'm actually more pumped for Ghost Recon.
-
I'm over this game at this point. It looks -blam!-ing amazing but it's been pushed back way too many times. I'll be excited for it if it ever actually comes out.
-
I think it would have been cool a year ago.
-
Looks generic. I'll pass.

Edited by PHANTOM JLK: 8/31/2015 12:45:56 PMFemale or male Division agent? Which one will you be.
-
I'm a bit worried because the trailers and all that looked so cool with this creepy survival vibe that sent chills up your spine. But the gameplay doesn't really speak to that effect.
-
Wildlands looks better
-
Comes out on March 8 of next year, which is also my birthday. Sweet.
-
I'm stoked for the division and the new ghost recon.....open world Tom Clancy games? Yes please!
-
Man honestly just the fact that it's basicly a elder scrolls just brought to the modern world which I feels awsome you know and the fact you can role with friends and stuff makes the campaign and stuff fun not to mention you can help your squad out even if your not near your console as a drone that's just epic you know
-
I'm most excited for more graphical downgrades.

I would like to clarify how much I like this thread
-
It's ubisoft, I won't trust it until a week after release and then looking at every review

Edited by PHANTOM JLK: 8/27/2015 2:50:17 PMWhen the game comes out will you be a support, assault or tank. And with what gun type. Personally I'm going to be a DMR using support player.
-
I'm definitely trying out that Xbox One beta this December.

Stealing everyone's hard earned loot in dark zones.
I'm not here to survive, I'm here to thrive
-
Edited by Swagu: 6/21/2015 5:31:34 PMThe recent footage showed a MASSIVE downgrade. Not only did it look worse, the animations were unfinished and the gameplay looked incredibly clunky. Everyone who played the demo at e3 so far has said to cancel your pre orders if you haven't already.
-
The game looks fun I can already see myself and my friends sniping and betraying other players to get their loot can't wait
-
This needs to not be a Ubisoft game.
-
I played it at X15 last week. I absolutely loved the gameplay, but the objective modes made absolutely no sense at all. Straight TDM would be fun on it, but thats all I look forward to.
-
Looks good, but I'm cautious at the same time. Hopefully they can deliver in the whole "watch your back" kind of thing
-
Edited by mrhal: 7/19/2015 4:10:28 PMThe only thing:I hope the team system doesn't turn into dayZ. Other than that it looks really good
-
Edited by ross-ellingham: 7/20/2015 2:51:00 AMI'm still concerned about solo play. It looks like you're not gonna stand a chance on the dark zones without a good team, and I have a feeling a lot of play will be focused around those areas.

The more information that comes out about The Division the less excited I get. Every time some new information is released the more this game begins to look like another generic RPG game with enemies that take unrealistic amounts of damage without dying. Now I'm all for more fantasy RPG games with enemies that don't die from a few rounds to the chest but I just don't think The Division has the best setting to be a game like that. Destiny, for example, does have the right setting to be a game like that. It's set like 700 years in the future where all the enemies in the game are highly advanced aliens that have have highly advanced armor and weapons. So it makes more sense to be able to empty a whole mag into an enemy in Destiny and only have burnt through about half of their health bar. But in a game like The Division where the game is set in modern times, I just think it completely kills immersion when the guy I'm shooting at just took 30 rounds to the chest from an AR and just walked it off. Now this doesn't mean I've completely dismissed this game from my list of games to play later this year and early next year. The Division could come out and it could be the best game I've ever played but I think I'm gonna pay more attention to Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Peace.
