I am a warlock, but I'm thinking of making a hunter, but I heard Titans are good. Who should I pick?

  • Both definitely I started with a warlock and played months with it. I created a Titan because I wanted something new. Wasn't sure I liked it but I discovered its incredible power and usefulness. I created a hunter and felt so weak but started to have real fun once I invested time. All classes are good, really. It is such an exciting moment when in a raid or in a fireteam you have three classes playing together and you see how they add value to each other. The Hunter runs invisible and stabs adds or takes his golden gun out to save your life, the titan throws a bubble or saves the day by smashing stuff, the warlock cleans a group of enemies or simply puts the room on fire and resurrects to either save the team from a wipe or simply to avoid having to be picked up by another guardian. They all have different jumps, different perks, they move differently, they feel different. I really like them all. Try them and decide but don't give up too quickly, it takes time to get used to them and find your style.

        • Hunter is definitely fun. Invisibility and agility rocks, but they are quite weak and take more damage quicker. I'm torn between lock and Titan as to which is my favourite. definitely try all 3, but if time is an issue, I'd go with Titan 1st

        • I had a exotic helm and full set of legs for a Titan so I made one and hit 28 as soon as I got to 20

          • I made one as well but didn't really enjoy it, thought it was this class with high reward for a lot of skill :/ imo what requires skill was like getting headshots to reload quicker, they didn't preform how I expected. It's all up to you man but that's me

          • I began with a lock and loved him, still my main. Hunter is probably the most fun to play within would say (throwing knives with the precision cool down) but it just depends on what ya want. Make all three and experiment with em

            • Run all 3. In terms of fun I like warlock the most Titans are just great for the utility the bubble brings even though they are the least fun to play imo Hunter is fun, and invisibility gives them utility and makes them the best swordbearer. There is no bad class, play them all and enjoy them all.

              • Why not just have all three?... That's what I have. I'm taking full advantage of most of the class specific gear I have obtained, just so that I won't have to delete it because it had a lack of purpose.

                • Titans are great for pvp but so far in the raid they are only usefull fot the bridge glitch and distracting boomers. I have a 32 hunter and so far everyone begs me to do hard raid. The exotics for hunter can help a lot for pve

                    • I started off as a warlock as well then created a hunter and a titan. I still main warlock and really love my hunter. Only use the titan to get more reward on nightfall and such. Titan feels heavy imo.

                      • It is up to you but I would save one rare engram of each armor type and weapon type and give them to your new character to turn in. The lowest lvl blue you will get it lvl10 so at lvl 10 or 11 you will have all blue gear and weapons for them. Like someone else mentioned, get an exotic armor piece for that character so at lvl 20 they have one good piece of gear. Exotic bounties are nice too, that way you wont have to switch weapons as often.

                        1. Get some rare and common weapons for your other character when he is a low level 2. Buy legendary weapons and if you have any exotic bounties complete them 3. Buy a class armor of your new character item from the speaker 4. Put shaders and emblems in your vault and any other materials, weapons, or ships. 5. Buy common armor for your warlock and dismantle your good armor and store the material 6. Create your new character 7. Delete your old character Good luck guardian Titan all the way.

                            • I started as a hunter and made a warlock second because of warlock hype. Made titan last. Haven't fully leveled either subclass out yet except sunsinger. IMO titan's are much more fun. Warlocks have powerful abilities but they don't feel like they mesh well with eachother. IDK how to put it. Warlocks just feel floaty and off to me. Hunters are really fun. I think they have the most fun supers and the best jumps over all. That being said if you are used to your abilities being something you use to kill a lot then you are going into this class feeling lacking. Nades are more about when best to use instead of trying to cover an area or finish off runners. Your melee's are more for finishing off someone then a quick panic for shields or a free kill via shoulder charge. Hunters are really for people who want a simple/easy class to play with flashy supers. Seeing as how you don't excel at anything you are really flexible on a team. You won't get thanks for your efforts. But you do matter.
