Well back to counterstrike for me then. the great thing about halo 3 that i really enjoyed (big team social) and now its gone. In a word dissapointed.

that was sweet but when will bungie reveale there ill put it in short F.M.E it looks awsome. and i was wondering did you get your bots insperation from the recent string of mods? if so that would be really weird.

Yo, Bungie! I am a Penny-Arcade Expo Enforcer. Last year I worked in the console freeplay area and was granted time during my shift to run a Halo 2 freeplay session. Four consoles were dedicated to the ession, so we had consistant 16 player mayhem. This year I will be running a Halo 3 Freeplay session in the console freeplay area, and because "special requests" were being mentioned in the weekly updates, I thought it a decent idea to invite any bungie members to the freeplay area. Benefits are obviously obvious, so I hope you take this into consideration. No schedule has been organized as of yet, but if it is possible, a message to me would allow me to later relate a time and date. Thanks!

Friends, don't play halo anymore, because I'm not going to because I'm a whiny little putz who doesn't like change, and gets upset when others get things that I have. Only I deserve it, only I play enough halo to earn this rank! All those beneath me don't deserve such nice things! You know what man, as far as I can tell, you can see when you obtained ranks. If someone has a rank you think they don't deserve, you can always check and see if they got it after the update, and then you can rant and cry all you want. By quitting, all you are is one real general letting fake ones take your place. At least if you had the balls to stay, you could show them who's the real general, but I guess that didn't occur to you. Have fun playing something else, we'll miss you. Also, people get way too serious about a fun, accessible shooter. This is a great game to play with your friends, where your communication will get you through most games. The games I lose are either with people who have no mics, or we're up against a team of level 50 grade 3 generals, who know everything in the game very well, and are very good at predicting player movement and strategies. Theres nothing wrong with that. What I hate are people who get so serious about what happens in this game. Call of Duty 4 is a game where you have to be serious all the time. Failure is less merciful in that game. Halo is great because anyone can pick it up pretty much. I don't enjoy all the children getting on and talking smack, but that means the game is balanced for everyone, unlike many other shooters, who require the player to have a large history of playing shooters. I like being able to pick up Halo and just play, and not have to concentrate too much. I do enjoy Gears, and CoD, but they require too much concentration, and that makes it too serious, and less fun for me. That's just how I see it. Thank you. [Edited on 08.08.2008 2:17 PM PDT]

Well I just want to know the reason as to why you guys are adding a playlist rank insignia as well now. I thought that is what the levels are for. Now it looks even worse if you are not a 50 in that playlist but you are a general on the insignia. Especially if you are, lets say, a Strike Commander with the nice gold bars and people already give you a lot of crap for that. This just gives them more to throw at you when they start talking a bunch of crap. Cause they will just check your service record and see that you have gold bars and give you even more crap cause you are a general in that playlist but not a 50 in any playlists. Cause it shows in how ever many matches it takes to get the experience to be a General in that playlist you could not achieve a 50 in that time. Which people will give some people, like me who play for fun and not rank, a hard time for it and it can make some people very mad. This entire update for the Playlist Rank Insignia It actually not doing a thing at all. It is just something new that Bungie thought of and they could have spent there time fixing the many other bugs and things that are wrong with Halo 3. There are so many things they could have spent there time on, but they decided to make an update that really does nothing but give generals and high ranking people more to throw at people who play for fun. I still have no idea why they made this update at all it is utterly pointless. Cause the numerical levels is what showed how good you are at that specific playlist. No they are adding a thing to show how much you play on playlist not how good you are at it. This is by far the dumbest thing I have ever seen Bungie ever do. They are just making things more complex than what they need to be. If they were going to restart the whole ranking system then i would understand it. They are just adding a dumb new thing they think is cool. Well that is all I have to say about how stupid this is. I hope that you guys will soon fix the things that need to be done. And add this to the list of great things about Bungie. Don't get me wrong you guys make great games, but there is a lot of important things that should be addressed before you start changing things that most people don't care about. I think the new update is horrible... King of the hill in Doubles?? Oddball in Doubles?? CTF in Doubles?? I hope it gets better as its peeing me off!!! I feel there is noo skill in theses games just luck awful games types.... Will never get my 50 in Doubles as i hate objective games... Should just be BRs only!!! Get it Sorted....!!!! :@

I am sorry i do not thinks this new experience thing is going to work i think if you want to make things fair you should do it by skill but do it this way. if you are a 50 in lone wolves you fight 50's in everything else this would prevent people who are 50 's and obviously acomplished at the game going into a playlist with say a 30 rank in that playlist making it very uncompetitive for true 30's ....... this also affects that 30 more than it does the 50 if his true rank is in that particular playlist that the 50 is moonlighting in for fun.

So by doing this you have given General status to people who haven't gotten a 50 and now for people who have a 50 are now a 50 recruit. Now by being a 50 recruit i have to win 600 games on my 50 to become a 50 General, is that really fair. I LOL at the stupidity of Bungie, you can ban me for saying you're stupid, I don't care about Halo nor do most of the other 50 Generals, you basically wasted all the time i took getting my General status. The only reason Halo 2 lasted so long is because people had [u]fun[/u] modding it, but since bungie doesn't allow anyone to mod their game Halo 3 will die out very soon no matter what changes they make. rumor has it bungie is banning people who play a lot of CoD4 out of sheer jealousy, then blame is on other reasons such as modded content. I bet you a forum moderator will delete my post and blacklist me now, because they know the truth hurts ;) Counter Strike has lasted a VERY long time and is still alive, you know why? because the game management allowed people to mod the game which made it more fun and kept it going for all these years. Notice how all the games that were never modded died out, Halo 3 will be added to the list of un-played xbox games, the "Games of the Past" Don't get me wrong those inappropriate modded screen shots are simply unacceptable, but that doesn't mean all modding is going to be like that, in the past Bungie let modders freely mod Halo 2 custom games but didn't allow them to play match making that's how it should have been in Halo 3. My opinion is that Halo 3 is a really fun game, it just has HORRIBLE management.

here's your fast and easy (but not free) way to get more than 100 content items. memory card for your 360. I noticed that i only got my warning about running out of room at home, not when i'm playing at my friend's house with my memory card. (not having to port my GT everywhere is so nice) when you play with a card in, you have the option to save either on the hard drive or on the card, each of which can have 100 items. maps and game types on one, videos on the other. zing
