I personally think mine looks pretty damn badass.

The Crota's End armor looks pretty nice on the female modules, and the Faction sets always have. Exotics are more of a miss than a hit though. The chests don't work too well, there's just something off about them. Rosegold, in my opinion, looks the best on female hunters, though Million Million, Bloodpact, and Cryptographic are all good secondary choices. All capes look nice. With armor, you generally want to look for a tighter fit, especially for the legs, because if not, the character goes from the normal built to EXTREMELY wide hips. With shaders, stick with solid tone colors, as they generally look nicer, particularly if the secondary color(the "clothing") is a different color from the armor plates. And as for capes, it's a no brainer. Go for whatever matches the shader. Cloak of the Shadowjacks(Might actually be Shadowrunners) goes pretty well with Cryptographic, and the Shattered Vault Cloak generally goes with mostly everything else. But above all else, your own tastes are key for your characters. If not, they'll become even bigger carbon copies than they already are. Anyway, have fun customizing your Hunter. Since Rosegold is a rather old shader, and unavailable at this time, it's on my Hunter if you don't know what it looks like.
