I can't believe this thread is still on the front page after 2 days...
Original Post:
Either than the fact that your squad on the Normandy gets stranded on a random planet and that the Mass Relays are destroyed, but I don't believe that those are legitimate reasons to call the whole ending awful.
Discuss the ending.

^ I thought Halo 3's ending was absolutely the most perfect ending in the history of science fiction altogether. And I've read/played/watched quite a bit of sci fi in my time. Say what you will about the rest of the game's story, IMO the ending was perfect. -Failed to provide any closure whatsoever -Thematically different from the rest of the series (The games always end off in triumph after overcoming impossible odds, and invoke emotion through reflection on previous events such as character deaths etc. ME3 decides to invoke emotion by creating the most depressing ending possible and still tries REALLY hard to make the player feel like they've saved the galaxy) -No variation (Especially retarded after Bioware promised AND ABOVE ALL US OFFLINE PLAYERS CAN'T GET THE PERFECT ENDING WHAT THE -blam!- BIOWARE/EA YOU BUNCH OF NUTSACKS!
