Young Ahamkara's Spine or Don't Touch Me
Can't decide which to use. Both are handy in pvp and pve but which do you all feel is the overall better choice?

Don't touch me are great for beginning CE. Young ahamkara spines are good everywhere else (mostly pvp) because instead of a 10 sec trip mine it is 30 sec. Good for zone control

Who gives a crap about a longer trip mine duration? Of all the hunter exotic armor I would use almost every other one over that. I just got those in the NF and dismantled.

A part of me is actually pretty upset that DTM is definitively the winner of these two options. I personally really enjoy YAS, especially in the crucible because I feel that tripmine traps are more useful than becoming briefly invisible during a melee attack. Thanks for the input everyone and I'll think more on the decision going forward.

If you're a Blade Dancer then Dont Touch Me although they don't do anything for you in PVP and you'd be better off with Mask of the Third Man. If you're a gunslinger then YAS is your PVP gauntlet of choice for the grenades. Of course you're still better off with the helmet Achlyphage Symbiote and the extra golden gun shot. Long answer short, DTM in the first part of the raid.... everything else you're better off with a helmet.

Don't touch me gauntlets are a neutral armor for both classes (Gunslinger/Bladedancer) so that makes them more useful but to get the most out of them Bladedancer is the class to use with all the invisibility abilities selected. Perfect for the whole crota raid especially in the pit with the lamps you ain't dying as long as you know how to cycle through your abilities.
