Here We Are Again....

It's Friday once more and I find myself not as eager to log into Bungie.net as I am most other days of the week. Why (you most certainly didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway). Today is the day (typically) when Guardian tears flow as freely as the Ganges. Most Fridays the forum is chock full of posts (trending too which is peculiar) about players who are quitting the game. The reasons range from those who are finally fed up, or who are ticked off at Xur's item list. They salute us and say their farewells, or flip off Bungie and take off into the ether. I logged in this morning expecting to see the same, especially when I came to realize that Xur was selling Icebreaker (again, as some would say). To my surprise, and at the time of writing this post, there was not a single post like I had previously described. This couldn't be, I thought. Clearly there's a bug. Maybe the system was so overwhelmed with similar posts that they became bottle-necked and will mysteriously appear in an hour or so. But nothing as yet. As a matter of fact the most negative post I could find- would be this; what I am writing here. Maybe the community is growing, maybe it's maturing, maybe all the bad apples have finally dropped off...who knows. All I can say is I'm happy, and proud, to see that despite a slew of repeat items from Xur, people are putting on their big boy (or big girl) pants and just finding a way to deal with it. Congratulations Guardians, maybe there's hope or us after all!
