For example, a degree in business will aid you more in the necessities of everyday life than a degree in gender studies. However, that doesn't mean that gender studies isn't void of any value. For you gain knowledge from your educational training. That said, you should major in something that will get you a job after your education. However, if you have a plan to use your Gender Studies degree in some way as your career, I see no reason not to go down that path.[/quote] Of course, but many people don't find much use for Gender Studies, which is a problem. That said, some do use it for their job, i'm sure.
