Community Focus - RoboticAdi

Hullo! I'm RoboticAdi, but most people call me Adi, I'm a Partnered streamer on Twitch and I'm from the northern part of Scotland! I've been gaming for a long time, the first console I owned was a PS1, but my earliest memories of gaming was on the original Xbox with my uncle and we played a lot of Halo. 

I got into content creation just before my daughter turned two in 2018. I had watched a fair amount of Twitch and at the time, I suffered postnatal depression and found it extremely difficult to socialise outside my home. I had made a few friends through Destiny on Xbox and streaming had been suggested to me so I decided to go for it!  

I actually found Destiny completely by accident! I was given Destiny: The Collection, which had all previous DLCs included, and popped it in my Xbox, started playing, and haven't stopped since! I met a couple of people in Prison of Elders who introduced me to their friend circle and it's thanks to them I experienced my first raid, Kings Fall, which for me was mind-blowing.  

I primarily focus on helping members of the community with endgame PvE content, although there is a running joke in my community that I'm secretly a PvP sweat. I love helping folk through activities like raids and Grandmasters. I tend to almost overexplain in raids, basically to give the fireteam the tools to go in comfortably the next time they decide to raid, whether it be with me or not! 

When I started playing Destiny, I was a Titan main but when Destiny 2 came out, I became a Hunter main through and through! Void 3.0 has made it fantastic to play. My favourite loadout right now is my headstone Krait, Glaive, and the trusty Gjally. It's been great to mow through ads with! 

My channel has a very laidback feeling, with a lot of dad jokes. I always say I want to make it feel like home. The people in my community are utterly phenomenal and I am very lucky to have them in my corner of Twitch. I joke with them a lot that it may be my channel, but a lot of people come back because of how warm and welcoming my community (The Toolbox) is. I cannot thank them enough! Although they really like to make fun of me when I screw up. (Think a Gjally rocket into an Anti-Barrier shield...) 

You can find me Monday to Friday on Twitch at 10 AM BST where we help people run through activities with my buddy Panda! I'm on Twitter a fair amount, and I also have a YouTube channel and a Tiktok where we post short clips of the stream!  

I want to say thank you to all those who have had a hand in making the Destiny universe what it is. You all have made such a wonderful game and because of that, I've met some lifelong friends. You should be really proud.  

A big shout-out to my community, The Toolbox. They have honestly changed my life and I have no idea what I would be doing if it wasn't for them. To my mods, I appreciate you guys so much, thank you for all you do.  

I would be remiss to not mention my partner Alanah, who continuously lifts me up and believes in me, even when I don't believe in myself as much. She's one in a trillion.
