There comes a time when someone has to use the opportunities presented to them to stand for a cause they believe in. In standing in solidarity with the accounts that were blocked from public access, I am no longer making public supdates. I find it unfair that the people who have been so supportive to us through the months are now being blockaded from giving feedback now, so it’s my turn to support them. The term “Bungie Community Humpday Supdate” loses its meaning when parts of the Bungie community are separated from it. Instead of being a hub for people to converge, it’s become a reminder that many people, whom have become weekly readers, have been silenced without even having a chance to speak out. Therefore, I’m speaking for them by refusing to contribute free content to Bungie’s public forum. Some people may think that the Supdate isn’t the place to be making political stands, and some people are wrong. This is supposed to be the pulse of the community, and the community has [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/158166641/0/0]spoken[/url]. If we don’t stand up for the community, then who will? Someone may pick up where I leave now, and I encourage it. This community deserves positivity, but this situation is something that I can’t sit on. So, this is it, for now.
