So I'm 31... Should I try and run Hard Mode?
I only recently got my last two pieces of raid gear, but should I try and run hard mode Crota? I have seen other 31's running it and I'm wondering if it's actually viable without being a burden.

not with your weapons, man. you're already at a HUGE giving and taking damage handicap. To add that your guns are either bad or not updated makes you basically someone who would be carried. But, if that's what you're into.....

I would say get ur guns up to 331 if you're not 32 yet.

Yep if you find a good team that has no issue with 1-3 31's then you will get it done

i can run you thru crota on hard if my groups on tomorrow but juss crota cuz thats were ppl wont want 31's but we have done it with 30's. so let me know

My completion was with 2 31s. With the right strategy it's basically all about the sword carrier

That's between you and your crew running it, are you clutch or crutch. You need to be 30 % better than the average LVL 32 on the team to be integral If your just as good then your doing less damage per second due too level penalties

If you have a group of friends who are willing to carry you through it for the first time yes. Its definitely possible once you know what you're doing, i just helped 2 31s and a 30 beat it in under an hour (they all have 32s on alts with plenty of experience)

I ran a group with 3 31s and 3 32s. We smoked Crota on our second attempt. We had great coordination, communicated, and everyone knew their role. So for us it wasn't difficult.

i would just keep doing normal until i was 32. if you're close, just finish whatever you need to do to get there.

If you know the strat and have good weapons it's doable . I've cleared it a few times with 31s. 32 needs to run sword though.

7 RepliesEdited by Burjibees: 1/28/2015 2:29:26 AMYea you should run it, don't let anyone say you can't. My group completed it with 2 31's . My only thing is the sword bearer needs to be 32 for damage purposes but a team of all 31's and one 32 would work just fine. It's the player not the level.
