Loadout is like a Magic The Gathering Deck

And it's extremely fruity too. I've just realized that the icons even look like little color-coded trading cards. The little half-ass blurbs of lore written on the descriptions are just like mtg too. And it's based on the rng "get lucky" gimmick that helps mtg players sink tons of money into the game by buying way more cards than they really want looking for that awesome deck. In Destiny, it's not our money but just our time and our desire to continue enjoying this game with cool halo-like gameplay that's taken advantage of. Magic The Gathering is not an RPG. Destiny needs to adapt from classics like DnD, dragon age, and final fantasy to enhance gameplay with quality time. Grinds in these games are sensible and it's based on slow and steady progress through a long series of main quests and side adventures. We can share adventures with each other instead of worrying about rng drops and individual bounties. Mtg style collecting and trading has no place in co-op multiplayer or pvp because pvp in shooters is about skill and environment, not how lucky you are at collecting the best weapons. Sure, we don't play any games right now as much as destiny but the issue is quality of time spent versus quantity.
