Thoughts on changes, altering aspects of Destiny, new features, modes, more than 1 daily, other, better rewards & More. Share opinions/thoughts...

The above video, are a couple of my friends completing, the Omnigul "[i]Will of Crota[/i]" Nightfall strike in just around 7 minutes. No doubt the Solar Burn is clearly a benefit, especially with all Guardians wielding new Gjallahorns. Watch it or don't, I really could care... whatever would be the amount considered below "less". [b]EDIT:[/b] Ignore the OP. Please read the second post, and share your opinion on it overall or specific things.   • More legible Crota Raid possibly positive changes. - [b]Crota Raid altered to have an increased drop rate chance of Raid Helms from Crota on Normal or the same odds/chance of the Vex Helm from defeating Atheon in the Vault of Glass on Hard.[/b] (Not knowing specifics regarding the yet to release Hard mode of the Crota Raid, a guarantee Helm drop or rather equal rate of the chance of a Helm drop for Atheon on Hard as Crota on Hard would seem more than fair, but not overly allowing a unique item to drop) - [b]Increased chance to obtain a Weapon upon defeating Crota (normal) or simply have a low chance to only get 2-3 Radiant Materials. Possibly making it VERY common to get at least 2 drops for killing Crota, with one of the drops even being radiant materials commonly if not always.[/b] (Defeating Crota legitimately 3 times in a row to only have gained a Radiant Energy Drop every time, while everyone else obtains a weapon or a helm on top of that.)

  • I just beat everything, at the Gorgons, I saved it on Alt. character. Continued to complete the Vault(Hard)3x. [b]All[/b] for the small... very small, incredibly miniscule chance I might get the 1 and only Exotic item in Destiny right now, which I don't have, The [b]Thunderlord[/b]. Even though the Vault of Glass loot table remains unchanged, [even Exotic weapons obtained from VoG will be the [i]pre-DLC[/i] version (max dmg=300), at least I can upgrade it. WARNING: Rant and logical points ahead. So first I must say I love Destiny, the vision Bungie had/has and do appreciate the work put into the game, just not 100% of it. (Also; last week, Xur had great items for sale[Xbox1], especially for people like me who haven't obtained an Exotic item from a Nightfall in over 3-4 weeks.) - Xur; SET rotating item sales! He has set days he sells & this would balance the SUPER Lucky vs Unlucky. -CrotaRaid(nrml) HelmDropRate% = or higher to VoG HelmDropRate%(hard) -Higher Weapon Drop% for Crota Defeat The frustration & lack of logic I experience, 1 week between 3 characters running the Nightfall, 7 Ascendant Shards (useless to Vets, currently), 6 Strange Coins, usable but less then I will get in 1 Weekly Heroic (Level 30), finally ending my 3rd run with a Legendary Engram which like 99% of the time (for me at least) once again, turned into a couple of Shards anyway. Apologies for those who are enduring my venting, but still I play Destiny. I love it & no matter how many faults myself/others notice, to down right aspects that go well beyond unbalanced/unfair/near game breaking... I still have to respect the vision/outcome/improvements along with whatever else could have been, as well as what will eventually come. The following are small & large alterations/changes/additions to many things, which I welcome all outside opinions on everything. Most importantly Bungie's impressions of our opinions. - Ascendant Shards/Energy shouldn't be Legendary Engrams "broken down form of useless matter, which was once a form of hope" (IMO; They shouldn't be part of the "Legendary" or Purple rarity which they were deliberately changed to-change back, or better yet make common as to not interfere with acquiring Motes & Coins). - A number of things be taken out of the possible Nightfall reward loot table. With the number of materials rewarded ALWAYS being more than a number acquired elsewhere. (I.E. Minimum strange coins higher then 9 as obtainable via Weekly Heroic) {Remove: Ascendant Shards, Engrams, Energy, other items that could easily be useless to an average player dedicated to the game} - The addition of an Item(s) which can increase the chance of obtaining rare/random items/drops. Variables are endless. - More item space & Glimmer cap raised. - Achievements/Trophies with DLC. - Less "FIX" patches = Less activities made worse. -PS Exclusives for..ever? - The addition of a similar/altered Exotic Bounty, with harder tasks/more time consuming actions, offering a guaranteed VALUABLE item, possibly obtainable by other means (chance/drop) as well. When it comes to type(s) of quest(s)/bounty(s), how quest is obtained & guaranteed reward (or chance of getting 1 a select # of valuables), the possibilities are nearly ENDLESS. A slight altered version of a feature already in-game. No time/money consuming large project for Devs; to a degree. Fun, quickly became time wasted on a similar idea/quest which sadly ended w/ Gauntlets, simply purchasable with a few marks & nearly the same item (stat. wise) already wearing a better pair during the whole MAIN Eris quest. - Getting a weapon via package for upgrading a faction most often then not. I recently ranked up factions 6 or 7 times (between 3 characters) only getting 1 Ascendant Energy or Shard, 1 Commendation, (aside from some glimmer, etc.) No weapon, nor Faction specific Armor, the latter not usable; proved still, when getting faction weapons (occasional armor) upon leveling factions was lucky or chance of getting weapons via package was lowered via recent patch, which would BE FAR FROM THE FIRST TIME THINGS WERE ALTERED/FIXED VIA PATCH BUT NOT BEING PUBLICLY MENTIONED/STATED/NOTED ANYWHERE OFFICIALLY FROM BUNGIE. A weapon guarantee per faction level would be nice! [quote][b]-MORE IMPORTANTLY[/b] is the fact that you can STILL ACQUIRE a Common, Rare or Legendary Faction Emblems via package from leveling a faction. Emblems easily purchasable from the faction vendor for a few marks, obviously having no Buffs, only cosmetic: making it clear it should have no place in the same loot table drop as weapons/armor. Additionally, the class items, again, easily purchased for glimmer are still rewarded via package. This was "fixed", though the Kicked to Orbit (or Main Menu) errors, were "Patched" numerous times.[/quote] - More content can easily be added with event/activity similar to any of the Weekly rewarding activities, though playable/reward available more often than once a week. Like another Daily with more difficult altered aspects making a better reward than a maximum of TWO ASCENDANT MATERIALS being the highest/most valuable reward, worth completing. Just one idea is a chance to gain +1 Radiant Material, or an opportunity to have a chance of getting an Exotic Engram, since currently ONLY Xur sells. Plus Exotic Weapon Engrams are not available at all now. It would need to be incredibly difficult, if rewards daily for activity completion are obtainable & valuable. Things like 3 people (or more) needed and/or high level/level cap to complete, with other alternate variables for a VERY difficult activity not conquered by most, but if actually beat, a guaranteed reward of a worth while item regardless of the players style of gaming. Alternatively, a [u]chance[/u] of obtaining some of the best things in the game, assuming it's a difficulty that most people may not even be able to beat it, even at max light level, skilled players, etc. Those dedicated enough to actually complete it, can get a reward the next day, maybe helping others learn mandatory techniques needed for completion of activity (or with an event of that magnitude may better be suited as a weekly/monthly activity depending on specifics). - Implement the Iron Banner weapon perk re-roll ability using Motes, also available to other items in the game (legendary weapons/armor excluding Exotic/Raid items). - It was not worth it to play the last Iron Banner because I would have been literally wasting time. A much better set of rewards upon its return would be nice. (If you can buy it from a vendor 24/7, then it should not look different and made an armor piece purchasable for leveling a "special" event costing half your glimmer cap). Along with many others, I sank MANY, MANY, intense, frustrating, HOURS into the game, with some being fun to be truthful, but all of it in hopes to obtain Level 30 (previous Light Level Cap) which made a world of a difference while playing through the Vault of Glass Raid on Hard. Now, level 31 light gear sets, are sold for common in-game currency, which makes all the frustrating hours trying to obtain the ONE piece of raid gear NEEDED to reach 30, with the Boots needed no matter what, mostly obsolete. Related to the above stated, ...where is the benefit, bonus, respect, Veteran Reward, whatever you may call it or think of it as. I am not proposing something massive or game breaking/unbalancing. All the hours spent making Destiny one of the #1 played games is apparently appreciated by Bungie equal to just purchasing Destiny and the DLC right now. How about a unique shader, a ship, speeder, a special delivery with a legendary weapon which doesn't even have to be that great, but only available to Vets. A choice of: Time Played/Grimoire Score/Lifetime Achieved Marks, XP, Faction(s) Rank/etc. to judge whom/what is rewarded, or go crazy and include specific ones for more time spent doing something more than another dedicated Guardian who may spend more time since the launch playing something else a lot. [b][u]It would not be hard[/u].[/b] Might guaranteed more Revenue, but may give players intent to spend more time playing for the chance of future Veteran rewards. Those who revolved their life around Destiny even if ever so mildly, are still who kept Destiny alive, as others games released, while other players abandoned Destiny after getting all the story they could from it, or simple using logic in the choice to stop playing the game. An army stood behind a talented developer, all with different reasons, before the release excited for hope, while still standing, waiting for what 10 years means to you. Above all, the ones still here are loyal. Does Bungie still appreciate and show that thanks to loyalty. When red and blue runs through some veins, with others who have waited to come ONLY for your second MASSIVE vision that can be taken anywhere from here. Destiny has already change so much, regardless of all the bumps along the road to a dream. Now what can be done to take everything further? - I could go on & on; surely others have some great ideas! Once again, I must convey that I love Destiny; Fav. game right now. No project/new IP comes out, w/ no flaws. Bungie is very talented & creative(aside from the ship developer). If u read all this, I may as well offer the Exotic chest in the VoG (Hard) 4 ne1(6 AscndntMtrls/ChanceExotic), if u haven't opened it this week (+Chest #3 & the Checkpoint). You'll still need to catch me online & in a good mood, especially since not a single forum member even replied "No" to my OP. I didn't expect anything though I'll still choose to pay forward.
