We've all heard about the app used for those with mobile, I don't use a mobile device like many others, that tracks possible public events. Using the app allows you to wait out in a location for the public event and will tell you how long the window is open for it. Does anyone else think it would be awesome if they had something like this in game instead? Imagine you go straight upon entering the Tower, and down the stairs where you see the Titan, Hunter, and Warlock each there. What if either in that room or a new room connecting to it, they had a map room? It would show you a map of each location that can be visited for free roam including the locations within each of those maps and a little something else. Warnings! You go in and bring up let's say the Mars map. You see all the different areas and one has an indicator showing you a public even may be in that area. You take flight, going to orbit, and travel to Mars fast. You get there and wait it out until the public even shows up. Now imagine if there were little outposts in each free roam that each had a small map room, but only for that planet/moon. It would have that place's map and each area of that world. The warnings would be the same for public events as the Tower, only you don't need to go to Tower to view this world. Now imagine there is a vendor in each of these little locations. That vendor will exchange materials from that world for other items or for glimmer. You go farm some spirit bloom and come back to turn it all in for a hefty amount of glimmer or motes of light, or strange coins or even ammo synthesis. Each trade costing a different amount of course based on which the more valuable is. There could also be color shaded spots on the map to show the best spots for finding resources. They could do this to also show which areas are more heavily littered with enemies than others. What do you think Guardians?
