Concept - Faction Bounty - Please Read!

So, today I came up with an idea, I hope many of you like: Quite frankly, leaving getting to level 30 by luck in the raid is not at all fun. So I thought; why do I bother with faction armour. Then I thought; I really enjoyed the exotic bounties. So I put all three together. The concept: Every two times you rank up, your faction sends you a special bounty, like an exotic weapon bounty, which sends you on a line of quests, to eventually get a supreme piece off faction gear, which can be upgraded to have 30 light. This makes reaching level 30 much less left to luck, and more entertaining for the player. The names could be for example: [name of item] of the Cult, of the Monarchy, or of the Dead. Any thoughts on this? If bungie could see this, I'd love for them to say what they think. Any feedback is great, thank you. Edit: Example bounty: Step 1) Your faction mentor has sent a request, signed, for you. (Go to Faction Vendor for Task "Relics of the[Cult/Dead/Monarchy]" Step 2) [Vendor Name] has mentioned long lost relics of the golden age, lost in the strongholds of our enemies. Search inside of them, kill our strongest enemies, and maybe the relic may show itself to you. (Kill 200 enemies in either the Nightfall, Weekly Heroic or Raid, to obtain Pulsating [Armour Name]) Step 3) This relic contains markings of the [Cult/Dead/Monarchy] themselves, we must return it to them. (Return the relic to the vendor to recieve Shattered [Armour Name]) Step 4) The armour is broken, find materials to heal it. The materials we need can be found on the Moon. (Open loot caches on the Moon until you receive an "Iron-Forged Armour Core") Step 5) This core fits perfectly, as if it was made especially for the armour. Return to [Vendor Name] to see what he/she can do (Take the armour and core to the vendor and receive "Healing [armour name]") Step 6) The armour is nearly ready for combat, but requires a few more adjustments. Dismantle legendary armour to gain enough parts to repair it. (Dismantle 3 legendary armour pieces to gain 3 "Armour Fillings") Step 7) Nearly there, take it back to your Faction for repairs. (Return to you vendor to receive "Toughened [Armour name]" Step 8) The armour is nearly ready. Test its structure in the Crucible. Win 5 matches to prove to the Vanguard it is ready for combat. Equip it in your armour slot for when you win, but you may encounter some difficulties with it. (Win 5 matches while wearing the armour. The armour reduces movement speed and reduces jump height. Complete it to receive "Vanguard Approved [Armour name]) Step 9) Finally, return to your Faction to use it out in the wild (Return to vendor to receive [Armour name] of the [Cult/Dead/Monarchy]

  • Can we have a limited time even where you need to kill gorgons to collect their armour and if you get enough you can combine them with relic iron and spinmetal to create pieces of armour. Then depending on which piece I armour you want you do a different task, so for example for a helmet you go down and kill 200 cursed thralls to gain their glowing head plate. Then you go to the speaker with all the pieces an he makes it into a helmet shell. This can then be like VoG raid gear level. A final, optional step could be to complete a portal on atheon where you hold the relic or to beat the Templar where you are the relic holder to add some of Kabr's light to the armour, once this is completed you have a piece of gear that looks awesome and has a light level of the gear that drops in Crota's end.
