Basically just what the title asks... I have an Xbox 360 and planned to buy the season pass this weekend (if Microsoft gets up and running) for The Dark Below. In a few months I plan on upgrading to the Xbox One and getting Destiny for that console too.
I know characters and stuff transfers between both consoles, but will the season pass transfer too?
Thanks!

I pre ordered the game and season pass both for 360 and then a month later I upgraded to an Xbox1 and the season pass did not transfer but I heard that they are supposedly fixing that around Christmas. Hope so because I do not want to waste $35 more buying a new season pass and losing out on preorder DLC

If you buy the expansion pass for 360 it will transfer to Xbox One, as per the description on Xbox Live. If you bought it for Xbox One first however, it will not transfer backwards to Xbox 360, as I was dismayed to find out this morning.

Okay, so just today I went and traded in my 360 destiny for xbone Destiny and my season pass did not transfer. Everything else did, what should I do now?

Has anybody found out more about this? I just got an xbox one and have the expansion pass on the 360.

From what I was told a while ago, it does transfer over to the Xbox One when you have the game. You have to download the Seasons pass from the Marketplace and all the other jazz. I might be wrong.
