Listen well bud. Cuz when you say everyone is stupid your actually talking about yourself. Well you're definitely refering to yourself because I have been playing every MMO since Everquest. Trading has become a fundamental requirement for MMO games because it helps the community support eachother. I'm not saying to allow someone to trade exotics to one another. I'm saying people should be allowed to have the same fundamental trading system as wow when it comes to raids and strikes (if your in a fireteam) so that if someone gets a piece of gear you need or a weapon you need then you can do a trade of equal value. Duplication would be impossible in game like this because bungie controls every server in the game and monitors the data of every player, not to mention this isn't Diablo. You can't log onto another account or do a split screen mode and have 2 of the same character. Your characters are saved specifically to one email address and can only be accessed through one account. Duplication was made impossible by bungie's system of logging into destiny. It's even impossible to duplicate items in wow. The reason people can duplicate in Diablo is because if someone (or yourself had a second controller) they can just split screen on your account and use the character your using and drop the gear and log off, then do the same thing again because when you split screen but aren't dropping all the items on the main players account and character, then it resets once that split screen mode has been left by player two and all the gear reappears. So stop saying duplication is possible because it isn't. Upgrade materials is another thing too. Some people don't have the time to go farm all that crap. Some people have lives. Personally I don't have all day to farm crap because I work and my college classes to attend. Yes I let my son play on my account when I'm not home, but he doesn't understand about the damn collecting of all those materials since he's only 6 years old. Having a trade system with a smart economy platform database setup would overall enhance everybody's experience with destiny. If destiny used the same system as wow, but adding a feature that only people who were in your fireteam at the given time of a specific mission (raid, strike, etc.) then their would be control. I leave with this statement because you clearly know nothing of MMO games. Auction house, open trade, instance timers (limited amount of time you can trade a piece of gear or weapon to someone else in your fireteam who was eligible for that item) and having an economy to distribute upgrade materials has been how it is in MMO games. Wow did this kind of system and guess what, they are still going strong. Granted, they are a PC game and yes they are highly exposed to the dark minds of gold farming companies that hack your account once you purchase from them. They are also PC platform though. On PSN or Xbox it would be nearly damn impossible to run any form of communication of their companies because their is no trade chat or world chat where they can hit a macro button and spam their gold selling advertisements. Go play some other MMO games and then tell me that destiny wouldn't be good with a trade system.

Simple solution: Trades must be of equal value. Oh, you want to to trade that exotic helmet or Vex? The person you're trading with is going to have an exotic helmet or weapon that has the same amount of upgrades put into it before you can trade. Same thing for materials and whatnot. You need 5 ascended shards? Well guess what, I need 5 ascended energy. [spoiler]Got to love it when someone calls someone else an idiot, or something similar, and uses your in place of you're.[/spoiler]

Solution to all who want trade. Game devs make a vender that replaces your unwanted item for another random one of same rarity. Pay something like 5 motes of light. That exotic helm you got for a class you don't play. Take another gamble if you want. Each gamble will cost you. Keeps you grinding away but increases chance at wanted gear. Because it isn't player trade it can't be abused and you only get same rarity gear. Just a thought considering most people complain about that legendary/exotic not being for their class.

Can't dupe since its online only. Also u said it would decrease the value or rarity of items? That's just dumb. My friend has 3 galahorns I have 3 suros...if we were to trade one for the other how is that decreasing any value?
