THE NEW "SUPER GOOD ADVICE" CONCEPT

As we all know, the SUPER GOOD ADVICE is pretty lackluster in its current state. However, it only needs two simple changes to make it a great addition to the roster of exotics without breaking it. Instead of almost all shots that MISS your target coming back into your magazine, almost all shots that HIT your target should come back to your magazine!!! Now I know that instantly sounds overpowered, but the other change will make up for this, that change being ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS RECOIL!!!! This makes up for the fact that hitting your target will most likely give your ammo back, because HITTING YOUR TARGET IS THE CHALLENGE ITSELF. And the risk reward of having to get DANGEROUSLY close to enemies if you want to guarantee hitting shots will help balance it as well. Adding a change like this would make the SUPER GOOD ADVICE an absolute power house if by some miracle you are actually hitting these shots. Now I'm talking about A LOT of recoil, so much that it would almost feel like the SUPER GOOD ADVICE is like a WILD ANIMAL that you need to TAME. This change would make the gun worth using, while also making it a gun that everyone respects for how absolutely ridiculous it is to control, truly giving it that HUGE MACHINE GUN feel. Thoughts? Is this super good advice for the SUPER GOOD ADVICE?

  • What's up with all of the super good advice threads recently? On topic, the weapon is almost unusable as is, the buff I'd suggest it reducing the insane recoil, not adding more to it. Plus, the point of it is "Spray and Pray." Blind fire has almost no risks to it when you get back almost all missed shots. Changing everything to work the opposite of its current design would go over better as it's own weapon instead of completely recreating one that's already here. That's my opinion, at least. Personally, the idea for this weapon you describe sounds intriguing, but I still wouldn't say that it should replace the current SGA's ability.

  • You know what makes it for good advice good? If it actually talked to you and gave you super good advice when you shot it.

  • I think think gun could just use a recoil deduction, the gun is unusable in most scenarios.

    • I guess the amount of recoil I'm talking about would be enough that you could still hit a boss with relative ease, because theyre pretty big. So it would really shine against bosses where you can just keep the fire up as long as youre hitting it.

      • I think the best change for SGA would be to make it so it has increased hip fire accuracy and while firing from the hip, all precision shots do 5x precision damage, this will keep the main perk of the gun (almost all missed shots return to mag) an absolute necessity, while still making the gun something worth using and not a placeholder in your vault

      • The satire is strong with this one.

      • TBH I like it. I've learned to just use in burst instead of holding down the trigger and aim low. It's a super powerful heavy machine gun especially against the hive wizards. I will agree though, the recoil is ridiculous but there is perks for this :)

      • It's a fun weapon concept, but it's not practical. It's key trait relies on not hitting the target, which goes directly against the idea of a gun. Your suggestion would fix that, but not make it practical. A gun where it's a challenge to even hit the target is more useless than one that just doesn't shine in its own special way if you are hitting the target.
