To all "advanced" raiders.
You're still a liability. I don't care how many times you've cleared hard mode, and I don't care what gear you're using. If you go down, you're bringing us all down with you. So please, remember this is a 6 man team. Not a 5 man team and you, legend. :] PSA.

34 completions across 3 warlocks and still only level 29... Someone is clearly projecting their anger on others. Cheer up buckaroo, there is always next week for your 6 attempts at that last piece of gear you are looking for.

Inexperienced raiders are the worst. Ive seen experienced with attitude but theres more with the inexperienced. Nothing beats the lvl 27 who wants to argue with on how they have skills to complete the hard raid. Then theres the newbies who dont listen and you spend 40 minutes doing gorgons maze. That one dude you keep watching fall off the cliff face at the Atheon entrance while you eat 2 burritos because he's got it and doesnt go the way you tell him. That one guy who brings arc or fire damage to the raid no void period. It goes both ways.

2 RepliesI sometimes feel like my back is a little sore. I should probably cut down on the number of times I help people through. Advanced raiders are actually advanced not because of their gear or the number of clears but based on their understanding of the mechanics and the fact that they tend to be the last ones to die. They also have good communication skills. Everyone else that calls themselves advanced is wrong. I don't even consider myself advanced, just a bit better than most.

The fact that everyone I had run into was informative and enjoyable to raid with was the main reason I started using DT over DestinyLFG. Hell, some group of random people i joined from DestinyTracker ended up clearing the entire raid on hard legitimately in an hour and a half. But the final two runs of last week, and every run so far this week has disgusted me. First, the team I was doing hard with today had two people who were absolutely full of themselves and were being rude (whether they noticed or not, it was almost unbearable). The other 3 people were friendly, but these two clowns kept giving advice that made absolutely no sense and everything seemed to be someone else's fault except theirs. We cleared the entire raid LEGITIMATELY up until Atheon. Just because we wiped maybe five times trying to adjust our team work, one of them insists we try to cheese him. They spent almost DOUBLE the time trying to knock Atheon off the edge than it took to get there from the start, and the funny part is that they didn't even manage to knock him off and we ended up disbanding. I had a good laugh sitting back and eatting my Chinese take out while they continuously tried to push Atheon off the edge for almost two hours. In the end I was secretly kind of happy we didn't succeed, just for the fact they were so aggressive and unthankful. Then I posted that I was willing to give away a hard mode oracle checkpoint I earned in return for a person to wait in the game so my other character could come in and get it. A person messages me fully understanding what the agreement was and promised he would do so. The dude came in, took the checkpoint, and straight up booked it. My PSN blocked list didn't have many people on it, but it has certainly doubled within the past week.

1 Replymost raiders with these additudes of i have done this alot tend to die week after week.... i have a freinds freind that i take every week, and every week i drag his ass trough normal and just put him with me where ever i go to cover his dead ass..... yet every week he gets gear, and every week he acts like he did something

I know what you mean every experience i've had in the vault has so terrible. There was always one insufferable know it all who rudely talking to the fireteam putting blame on everyone else. There was even one dumbass who was Mr. Vault Conquerer gave out instructions at a point and we all followed it, only to get us all killed because he thought he knew what he was doing.

I love the people who lie about their completions. I've found 30s who complain about the loot and "I've done this 20 times and still no mythoclast #sellingdestiny" but when I go to their page it says 4 completions. Or people who call themselves "experienced raiders". You're only experienced, imo, after around 12+ completions. But that doesn't change the fact that you can't pull your own weight and not drop a donut.

1 ReplyI know exactly what you mean. I was trying to do hard raid today had like 2 30s and the rest of us were 29s. One of the 30s kept trying to get me kicked because I was using thorn. He kept calling me garbage even though every time we died I was in the top two killers and was also one of the last ones to die(despite the fact that he was a warlock and I was a titan). the amount of self righteous mierda del toro that came out of his mouth was astonishing.

6 RepliesLook at those kill counts early in the raid when you are wiping on the confluxes. Usually a good indicator of who is doing work and who is being carried.

Most definitely a 6 man team and people must remember that this is about teamwork. I will admit though, that while we were fighting Atheon on hard, 3 of us went down just before the final teleport and Atheon was close to death. Two of my other teammates went through while I was left behind killing as many supplicants as I could. They needed help so I went through the portal, my Last Word fully loaded and I unloaded on that bastard zombie Praetorian. Cleansed, we went back through and we opened up on Atheon with everything we had. Gotta say, that was a glorious moment haha
