This Will Change How YOU See Gaming

All of these theories make sense and as a community we should try to stop this. Please take some time and watch this video. You won't regret it.
A theory of mine: Imagine this. A game does what destiny could have done. Become legend. Millions upon millions of sales. After that all games would have to live up to its giant success or, simply not get sales. So, MegaCity does this, the game of the year 2016 spends a shitload of money and makes a great game. In the end it pays off and they are the new thing. Now CoD, Halo and other large titles must do the same thing or be left in the dust of MegaCity's sales. So 2017 rolls around and MegaCity 2 and all other big titles(CoD Halo Final Fantasy Lots more) make another tremendous game. Now the sales for the games are the same as their 2015 counterparts but!, they spent A LOT more to do that. It's almost like an unwritten rule "Don't make a huge success and we'll return the favor."
Edit: Obviously the title wasn't that I truly think this will change how you see gaming. It's a hook. I get you to come here and watch this because I thought it had some interesting theories. Also no credit taken, sub to this guy.
Edit: I am not copying other people who have posted this video. I can honestly say I saw it and decided I should share this very interesting video.

And you call the people who "buy in" to Destiny and other franchises sheep? Look at what you're doing...same thing but even worse. At least I'm getting some enjoyment out of what I'm doing.

4 RepliesI've been defending Destiny to my friends (who hate it) for awhile now but after taking this all in, I just can't anymore. This makes me sad about what could have been, extremely disappointed that I bought the season pass and worst of all, mad that Bungie did this. I've no idea if any of what's in the video is true or not but it makes far more sense to me than any alternative excuse. Also, and I'm not a PvP guy at all, but that Warlock shotgun/melee combo looks goddamn DIRTY AS HELL. Holy shit.
