Destiny is having trouble keeping players because the game is boring.
Now you want to suspend those players?
Is this a satire post? Anyone should be able to quit for any reason ever. They paid money for the game. Nobody cares how it affects you just like you don't care how an hour ban affects others.
Selfish little brat.

You know this guy is one of the guys that quits because the team was losing by ten at some point and doesn't want to be punished for it

Edited by NathanW18: 10/5/2014 3:38:26 PMWhen you enter a team based game, it's common courtesy to stay until the end of the match. Just because you paid for the game doesn't mean it should be acceptable to quit on your team whenever you want to. Of course you have the right to quit, but that doesn't mean it should be accepted as okay. The only people being selfish are those that quit out and leave their team short of a player.

Edited by xXx G3TZUM xXx: 3/22/2015 10:28:48 AMUmmmmm, no I like to run solo, and b/c I'm solo I get thrown in "filler spots" in shitty games where the team is losing by a lot against a team of 6 in party. I have no issues quitting here Some games have players who go afk during the match for extended periods I have no issues quitting here Some matches are composed of players who death-zerg a point repeatedly, thinking grabbing that B point in control justifies a .3 k/d (guess what, K/D wins control matches....) I have no issues quitting here Sometimes, real life happens and I need to leave immediately. Cause RL is much more important than a game... I have no issues quitting here Now, if someone is quitting match after match after match, I am not opposed to a penalty box idea or throwing the player into a "quitters playlist" for an hour of playtime. Or, would be great if Bungie increased RNG odds for solo players who have to endure matches against party teams of 4+ or get thrown in matches where the team is down by a lot. Positive reinforcement can make huge changes to behavior at times

Umm it's a game. If you really care about the outcome then you care too much. So if you want to quit then quit, if you want to stay then stay, your family, job, and friends won't care I promise. As for your teammates, you won't ever meet any of them anyways so screw them.
-
Edited by NathanW18: 10/5/2014 4:28:35 PMIf I didn't care about the outcome, I wouldn't play. As I said, if you want to quit, you can quit. That doesn't mean it's an okay thing to do. I don't care if I won't meet my teammates. When I play a team based game, I don't quit out and try my best to help the team win. I would fully support consistent quitters being given bans from playing. You're wasting other people's time by quitting. You should be punished for consistently quitting out of team games. If you're getting dc'd, fair enough, but I doubt the majority of quits are people getting dc'd. 90% of the time, it's people on the losing team quitting. It's not exactly a coincidence.

It's funny because punishment for quitting would just hurt bungies wallet. Less people would play. So it WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Better get used to all the quitters lol
-
LOL please never be on my team.

I might just buy this game to sit in a corner for entire matches. Just to piss you tryhards off.
-
Calling someone a "tryhard" is just idiotic you tardbox. Get in your corner, because campers are the easiest to murder.
-
Oh I wouldn't care. I wouldn't even be camping bro. I'm talking about sitting in a corner spinning in circles waiting for all the loot I get at the end of the round. I don't intend on firing a single shot. Just going to tape joystick to one side and rack up loot while I play all the pc games I have back logged. Thanks for the free loot. I'll be back in an hour.
-
If you see people inactive just report them for inactivity. Pretty sure they get booted if enough ppl in the lobby smash the nublets after free loot.
-
Nah nobody ever gets banned.
